But what went you out to see? a prophet? yea I tell you, and more than a prophet.

4 Said to them: You have presented unto me this man, as one that perverteth the people; and behold I, having examined him before you, find no cause in this man, in those things wherein you accuse him.


1 And he saith to him: Amen, amen I say to you, you shall see the heaven opened, and the angels of God ascending and descending upon the Son of man.


3 The soldiers therefore, when they had crucified him, took his garments, (and they made four parts, to every soldier a part,) and also his coat. Now the coat was without seam, woven from the top throughout.


9 Jesus answered, and said to them: Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.


9 But this multitude, that knoweth not the law, are accursed.


When therefore they continued asking him, he lifted up himself, and said to them: He that is without sin among you, let him first cast a stone at her.


5 And the faithful of the circumcision, who came with Peter, were astonished, for that the grace of the Holy Ghost was poured out upon the Gentiles also.


8 And he taking him, brought him to the tribune, and said: Paul, the prisoner, desired me to bring this young man unto thee, who hath some thing to say to thee.


1 And they indeed went from the presence of the council, rejoicing that they were accounted worthy to suffer reproach for the name of Jesus.


And devout men took order for Stephen's funeral, and made great mourning over him.


And Philip going down to the city of Samaria, preached Christ unto them.
