out of Sion the loveliness of his beauty.


Glorious things are said of thee, O city of God.


The sinner hath provoked the Lord according to the multitude of his wrath he will not seek him:


1 The ear that heareth the reproofs of life, shall abide in the midst of the wise.


2 Why have I hated instruction, and my heart consented not to reproof,


My mouth shall meditate truth, and my lips shall hate wickedness.


The memory of the just is with praises: and the name of the wicked shall rot.


3 And I will make it a possession for the ericius and pools of waters, and I will sweep it and wear it out with a besom, saith the Lord of hosts.


7 That made the world a wilderness, and destroyed the cities thereof, that opened not the prison to his prisoners?


AT that time Jesus went through the corn on the sabbath: and his disciples being hungry, began to pluck the ears, and to eat.


7 And if he will not hear them: tell the church. And if he will not hear the church, let him be to thee as the heathen and publican.


And he answering, said to them: Do you see all these things? Amen I say to you there shall not be left here a stone upon a stone that shall not be destroyed.


0 And if thy right hand scandalize thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is expedient for thee that one of thy members should perish, rather than that thy whole body be cast into hell.


7 But let your speech be yea, yea: no, no: and that which is over and above these, is of evil.


And behold some of the scribes said within themselves: He blasphemeth.


AND he said to his disciples: It is impossible that scandals should not come: but woe to him through whom they come.


And the apostles said to the Lord: Increase our faith.


6 And they also that had seen, told them how he had been healed from the legion.


And with you perhaps I shall abide, or even spend the winter: that you may bring me on my way whithersoever I shall go.


3 Receiving the reward of their injustice, counting for a pleasure the delights of a day: stains and spots, sporting themselves to excess, rioting in their feasts with you:


And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes: and death shall be no more, nor mourning, nor crying, nor sorrow shall be any more, for the former things are passed away.
