Enlarge the place of thy tent, and stretch out the skins of thy tabernacles, spare not: lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes.


1 Also my covenant with David my servant may be made void, that he should not have a son to reign upon his throne, and with the Levites and priests my ministers.


4 Prepare yourselves against Babylon round about, all you that bend the bow: fight against her, spare not arrows: because she hath sinned against the Lord.

6 I will seek that which was lost: and that which was driven away, I will bring again: and I will bind up that which was broken, and I will strengthen that which was weak, and that which was fat and strong I will preserve: and I will feed them in judgment.


9 He shall not contend, nor cry out, neither shall any man hear his voice in the streets.


3 And a certain man said to him: Lord, are they few that are saved? But he said to them:


1 And he said: A certain man had two sons:


8 And the second came, saying: Lord, thy pound hath gained five pounds.


Tribulation and anguish upon every soul of man that worketh evil, of the Jew first, and also of the Greek.


Not rendering evil for evil, nor railing for railing, but contrariwise, blessing: for unto this are you called, that you may inherit a blessing.
