1 And his head was brought in a dish: and it was given to the damsel, and she brought it to her mother.


4 And he coming forth saw a great multitude, and had compassion on them, and healed their sick.


5 No, nor Herod neither. For I sent you to him, and behold, nothing worthy of death is done to him.


For now the axe is laid to the root of the trees. Every tree therefore that bringeth not forth good fruit, shall be cut down and cast into the fire.
