0 the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom. A good understanding to all that do it: his praise continueth for ever and ever.


Praise ye the name of the Lord: O you his servants, praise the Lord:

4 Nations rose up, and were angry: sorrows took hold on the inhabitants of Philisthiim.


What is there that I ought to do more to my vineyard, that I have not done to it? was it that I looked that it should bring forth grapes, and it hath brought forth wild grapes?


They bear him on their shoulders and carry him, and set him in his piece, and he shall stand, and shall not stir out of his place. Yea, when they shall cry also unto him, he shall not hear: he shall not save them from tribulation.


3 As one whom the mother caresseth, so will I comfort you, and you shall be comforted in Jerusalem.


4 And thou shalt be blessed, because they have not wherewith to make thee recompense: for recompense shall be made thee at the resurrection of the just.


But Zacheus standing, said to the Lord: Behold, Lord, the half of my goods I give to the poor; and if I have wronged any man of any thing, I restore him fourfold.


And Jesus said to them: Neither do I tell thee by what authority I do these things.


AND looking on, he saw the rich men cast their gifts into the treasury.


9 And now, Lord, behold their threatenings, and grant unto thy servants, that with all confidence they may speak thy word,


I charge thee, before God and Jesus Christ, who shall judge the living and the dead, by his coming, and his kingdom:


To speak evil of no man, not to be litigious, but gentle: shewing all mildness towards all men.


For the time past is sufficient to have fulfilled the will of the Gentiles, for them who have walked in riotousness, lusts, excess of wine, revellings, banquetings, and unlawful worshipping of idols.
