Some trust in chariots, and some in horses: but we will call upon the name of the Lord our God.


7 But I am a beggar and poor : the Lord is careful for me. Thou art my helper and my protector : O my God, be not slack.


For it shall be health to thy navel, and moistening to thy bones.


Who are these, that fly as clouds, and as doves to their windows?


3 And when an unclean spirit is gone out of a man he walketh through dry places seeking rest, and findeth none.


I have baptized you with water; but he shall baptize you with the Holy Ghost.


9 For he was teaching them as one having power, and not as the scribes and Pharisees.


And Jesus stretching forth his hand, touched him, saying: I will, be thou made clean. And forthwith his leprosy was cleansed.


6 If then thy whole body be lightsome, having no part of darkness; the whole shall be lightsome; and as a bright lamp, shall enlighten thee.


5 He therefore, leaning on the breast of Jesus, saith to him: Lord, who is it?


9 And now I have told you before it comes to pass: that when it shall come to pass, you may believe.


Let no man deceive you with vain words. For because of these things cometh the anger of God upon the children of unbelief.


3 That he may raise thee up a people to himself, and he may be thy God as he hath spoken to thee, and as he swore to thy fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.


4 Neither with you only do I make this covenant, and confirm these oaths,


9 I call heaven and earth to witness this day, that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing. Choose therefore life, that both thou and thy seed may live:


6 And the Lord said to Moses: Behold thou shalt sleep with thy fathers, and this people rising up will go a fornicating after strange gods in the land, to which it goeth in to dwell: there will they forsake me, and will make void the covenant, which I have made with them,


9 For I know that, after my death, you will do wickedly, and will quickly turn aside from the way that I have commanded you: and evils shall come upon you in the latter times, when you shall do evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him by the works of your hands.


I am the Lord thy God, who brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage


These are the precepts, and ceremonies, and judgments, which the Lord your God commanded that I should teach you, and that you should do them in the land into which you pass over to possess it:


Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord.


5 For he that doth wrong, shall receive for that which he hath done wrongfully: and there is no respect of persons with God.


2 And he said to the Rubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasses:


Cunningly devising took for themselves provisions, laying old sacks upon their asses, and wine bottles rent and sewed up again,
