And David again gathered together all the chosen men of Israel, thirty thousand.


4 As they were yet speaking, the king's eunuchs came, and compelled him to go quickly to the banquet which the queen had prepared.


7 He setteth up his tail like a cedar, the sinews of his testicles are wrapped together.


Thou hast set a bound which they shall not pass over; neither shall they return to cover the earth.


In the nights lift up your hands to the holy places, and bless ye the Lord.


Praise ye the name of the Lord: O you his servants, praise the Lord:


5 Seven days shall you eat unleavened bread: in the first day there shall be no leaven in your houses: whosoever shall eat any thing leavened, from the first day until the seventh day, that soul shall perish out of Israel.


They shall be confounded that wrought in flax, combing and weaving fine linen.


7 And the residue of the number of strong archers of the children of Cedar shall be diminished: for the Lord the God of Israel hath spoken it.


Remember the former age, for I am God, and there is no God beside, neither is there the like to me:


0 Who shew from the beginning the things that shall be at last, and from ancient times the things that as yet are not done, saying: My counsel shall stand, and all my will shall be done:


6 And I will feed thy enemies with their own flesh: and they shall be made drunk with their own blood, as with new wine: and all flesh shall know, that I am the Lord that save thee, and thy Redeemer the Mighty One of Jacob.


Rejoice, and give praise together, O ye deserts of Jerusalem: for the Lord hath comforted his people: he hath redeemed Jerusalem.


Lift up thy eyes round about, and see: all these are gathered together, they are come to thee: thy sons shah come from afar, and thy daughters shall rise up at thy side.


And give him no silence till he establish, and till he make Jerusalem a praise in the earth.


And the Gentiles shall see thy just one, and all kings thy glorious one: and thou shalt be called by a new name, which the mouth of the Lord shall name.


9 Woe is me for my destruction, my wound is very grievous. But I said: Truly this is my own evil, and I will bear it.


3 I know, O Lord, that the way of a man is not his: neither is it in a man to walk, and to direct his steps.


7 And thou shalt say to them: Thus saith the Lord of hosts the God of Israel: Dring ye, and be drunken, and vomit: and fall, and rise no more, because of the sword, which I shall send among you.


In that you provoke me to wrath with the works of your hands, by sacrificing to other gods in the land of Egypt, into which you are come to dwell there: and that you should perish, and be a curse, and a reproach to all the nations of the earth?


Baldness is come upon Gaza: Ascalon hath held her peace with the remnant of their valley: how long shalt thou cut thyself?


5 Moab is laid waste, and they have cast down her cities: and her choice young men are gone down to the slaughter: saith the king, whose name is the Lord of hosts.


5 Thus saith the Lord of hosts: Behold I will break the bow of Elam, and their chief strength.


0 And Chaldea shall be made a prey: all that waste her shall be filled, saith the Lord.


2 Therefore behold the days come, saith the Lord, and I will visit her graven things, and in all her land the wounded shall groan:


9 Therefore thus saith the Lord God: Behold, I will set Nabuchodonosor the king of Babylon in the land of Egypt: and he shall take her multitude, and take the booty thereof for a prey, and rifle the spoils thereof: and it shall be wages for his army.


Thus saith the Lord God: They also that uphold Egypt shall fall, and the pride of her empire shall be brought down: from the tower of Syene shall they fall in it by the sword, saith the Lord the God of hosts.


1 Son of man, I have broken the arm of Pharao king of Egypt: and behold it is not bound up, to be healed, to be tied up with clothes, and swathed with linen, that it might recover strength, and hold the sword.


6 And he shall come upon him and do according to his pleasure, and there shall be none to stand against his face: and he shall stand in the glorious land, and it shall be consumed by his hand.


Her prophets are senseless men without faith: her priests have polluted the sanctuary, they have acted unjustly against the law.


For none of us liveth to himself; and no man dieth to himself.


Be ye therefore followers of God, as most dear children;


0 For which I am an ambassador in a chain, so that therein I may be bold to speak according as I ought.


1 Fathers, provoke not your children to indignation, lest they be discouraged.


3 Whatsoever you do, do it from the heart, as to the Lord, and not to men:
