4 I will do to this house, in which my name is called upon, and in which you trust, and to the places which I have given you and your fathers, as I did to Silo.


7 Seest thou not what they do in the cities of Juda, and in the streets of Jerusalem?


And I will not have mercy on her children: for they are the children of fornications.


Of all the nations round about, that are near or afar off, from one end of the earth to the other,


9 Cursed shalt thou be coming in, and cursed going out.


9 That he would destroy all thy enemies before thee, as he hath spoken.


Say not in thy heart, when the Lord thy God shall have destroyed them in thy sight: For my justice hath the Lord brought me in to possess this land, whereas these nations are destroyed for their wickedness.


5 Josue therefore on that day made a covenant, and set before the people commandments and judgments in Sichem.
