1 And thy ears shall hear the word of one admonishing thee behind thy back: This is the way, walk ye in it: and go not aside neither to the right hand, nor to the left.


7 And Sennacherib the king of the Assyrians went out and departed, and returned, and dwelt in Ninive.


5 And Ezechias prayed to the Lord, saying:


BEHOLD my servant, I will uphold him: my elect, my soul delighteth in him: I have given my spirit upon him, he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles.


I the Lord have called thee in justice, and taken thee by the hand, and preserved thee. And I have given thee for a covenant of the people, for a light of the Gentiles:


7 They are turned back: let them be greatly confounded, that trust in a graven thing, that say to a molten thing: You are our god.


7 Who brought forth the chariot and the horse, the army and the strong: they lay down to sleep together, and they shall not rise again: they are broken as flax, and are extinct.


Even to your old age I am the same, and to your grey hairs I will carry you: I have made you, and I will bear: I will carry and will save.


Yet so that you observe attentively, and in work fulfil the commandment and the law which Moses the servant of the Lord commanded you: that you love the Lord your God, and walk in all his ways, and keep all his commandments, and cleave to him, and serve him with all your heart, and with all your soul.
