5 Who is the Almighty, that we should serve him? and what doth it profit us if we pray to him?


9 I will not cast them out from thy face in one year: lest the land be brought into a wilderness, and the beasts multiply against thee.


Their heart is divided: now they shall perish: he shall break down their idols, he shall destroy their altars.


You speak words of an unprofitable vision, and you shall make a covenant: and judgment shall spring up as bitterness in the furrows of the field.


Samaria hath made her king to pass as froth upon the face of the water.


7 For as lightning cometh out of the east, and appeareth even into the west: so shall the coming of the Son of man be.


5 And the stars of heaven shall be falling down, and the powers that are in heaven, shall be moved.


1 So you also, when you shall see these things come to pass, know that the kingdom of God is at hand.


7 And saying: If thou be the king of the Jews, save thyself.


5 And this I speak for your profit: not to cast a snare upon you; but for that which is decent, and which may give you power to attend upon the Lord, without impediment.


3 Be the heaven, that is over thee, of brass: and the ground thou treadest on, of iron.
