4 For we have heard him say, that this Jesus of Nazareth shall destroy this place, and shall change the traditions which Moses delivered unto us.


And having tarried among them no more than eight or ten days, he went down to Caesarea, and the next day he sat in the judgment seat; and commanded Paul to be brought.


4 Who came to the chief priests and the ancients, and said: We have bound ourselves under a great curse that we will eat nothing till we have slain Paul.


6 And hath made of one, all mankind, to dwell upon the whole face of the earth, determining appointed times, and the limits of their habitation.


AND when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where there was a synagogue of the Jews.


3 And when they had laid many stripes upon them, they cast them into prison, charging the gaoler to keep them diligently.


And I heard also a voice saying to me: Arise, Peter; kill and eat.


And a certain man who was lame from his mother's womb, was carried: whom they laid every day at the gate of the temple, which is called Beautiful, that he might ask alms of them that went into the temple.


6 And continuing daily with one accord in the temple, and breaking bread from house to house, they took their meat with gladness and simplicity of heart;


1 He findeth first his brother Simon, and saith to him: We have found the Messias, which is, being interpreted, the Christ.


That thou mayest know the verity of those words in which thou hast been instructed.


And he preached, saying: There cometh after me one mightier than I, the latchet of whose shoes I am not worthy to stoop down and loose.


0 Many shall be chosen, and made white, and shall be tried as fire: and the wicked shall deal wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand, but the learned shall understand.


If thou know not thyself, O fairest among women, go forth, and follow after the steps of the flocks, and feed thy kids beside the tents of the shepherds.


6 As also in all his epistles, speaking in them of these things; in which are certain things hard to be understood, which the unlearned and unstable wrest, as they do also the other scriptures, to their own destruction.


For you have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin:


9 For when every commandment of the law had been read by Moses to all the people, he took the blood of calves and goats, with water, and scarlet wool and hyssop, and sprinkled both the book itself and all the people,


Know also this, that, in the last days, shall come dangerous times.


1 Touch not, taste not, handle not:


The things which you have both learned, and received, and heard, and seen in me, these do ye, and the God of peace shall be with you.


2 Yea, much more those that seem to be the more feeble members of the body, are more necessary.


1 Now all these things happened to them in figure: and they are written for our correction, upon whom the ends of the world are come.


4 (For the name of God through you is blasphemed among the Gentiles, as it is written.)


6 But rise up, and stand upon thy feet: for to this end have I appeared to thee, that I may make thee a minister, and a witness of those things which thou hast seen, and of those things wherein I will appear to thee,


And the chief priests, and principal men of the Jews, went unto him against Paul: and they besought him,


3 And he commanded a centurion to keep him, and that he should be easy, and that he should not prohibit any of his friends to minister unto him.


0 Be it known to you all, and to all the people of Israel, that by the name of our Lord Jesus Christ of Nazareth, whom you crucified, whom God hath raised from the dead, even by him this man standeth here before you whole.


7 And the Father himself who hath sent me, hath given testimony of me: neither have you heard his voice at any time, nor seen his shape.


2 And the servant said: Lord, it is done as thou hast commanded, and yet there is room.


8 And when thou goest with thy adversary to the prince, whilst thou art in the way, endeavour to be delivered from him: lest perhaps he draw thee to the judge, and the judge deliver thee to the exacter, and the exacter cast thee into prison.


6 But he said: Woe to you lawyers also, because you load men with burdens which they cannot bear, and you yourselves touch not the packs with one of your fingers.


4 Who was of Levi, who was of Melchi, who was of Janne, who was of Joseph,


6 If any man have ears to hear, let him hear.


2 And further you suffer him not to do any thing for his father or mother,


Then the devil took him up into the holy city, and set him upon the pinnacle of the temple,


9 For God indeed was in Christ, reconciling the world to himself, not imputing to them their sins; and he hath placed in us the word of reconciliation.


1 And now behold, the hand of the Lord is upon thee, and thou shalt be blind, not seeing the sun for a time. And immediately there fell a mist and darkness upon him, and going about, he sought some one to lead him by the hand.


When they shall rush in unto Jacob, Israel shall blossom and bud, and they shall fill the face of the world with seed.
