David was thirty years old when he began to reign, and he reigned forty years.


1 And the days that David reigned in Israel, were forty gears: in Hebron he reigned seven years, in Jerusalem thirty-three.


Let a third part of you go in on the sabbath, and keep the watch of the king's house. And let a third part be at the gate of Sur: and let a third part be at the gate behind the dwelling of the shieldbearers: and you shall keep the watch of the house of Messa.


7 And concerning his sons, and the sum of money which was gathered under him, and the repairing the house of God; they are written more diligently in the book of kings: and Amasias his son reigned in his stead.


And they broke down before him the altars of Baalim, and demolished the idols that had been set upon them: and be cut down the groves and the graven things, and broke them in pieces: and strewed the fragments upon the graves of them that had sacrificed to them.


And he burnt the bones of the priests on the altars of the idols, and he cleansed Juda and Jerusalem.


9 Arise, O Lord, let not man be strengthened: let the Gentiles be judged in thy sight.


6 Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.


5 He that striketh his father or mother, shall be put to death.


1 And for his trespass he shall offer a ram to the Lord, at the door of the tabernacle of the testimony:


2 Let there be equal judgment among you, whether he be a stranger, or a native that offends: because I am the Lord your God.


Six years thou shalt sow thy field and six years thou shalt prune thy vineyard, and shalt gather the fruits thereof:


1 Or being his enemy, strike; him with his hand, and he die: the striker shall be guilty of murder: the kinsman of him that was slain as soon as he findeth him, shall kill him.


2 But if by chance medley, and without hatred,


3 And enmity, he do any of these things,


6 If the murderer be found without the limits of the cities that are appointed for the banished,


And Jesus answering, said to them: Take heed that no man seduce you:


4 But certain men adhering to him, did believe; among whom was also Dionysius, the Areopagite, and a woman named Damaris, and others with them.


6 If a lying witness stand against a man, accusing him of transgression,


7 Both of them, between whom the controversy is, shall stand before the Lord in the sight of the priests and the judges that shall be in those days.


Having thirty sons that rode on thirty ass colts, and were princes of thirty cities, which from his name were called Havoth Jair, that is, the towns of Jair, until this present day in the land of Galaad.
