1 The innocent and the upright have adhered to me: because I have waited on thee.


0 Enter thou into the rock, and hide thee in the pit from the face of the fear of the Lord, and from the glory of his majesty.


2 And I will lay the key of the house of David upon his shoulder: and he shall open, and none shall shut: and he shall shut, and none shall open.


The voice of one, saying: Cry. And I said: What shall I cry? All flesh is grass, and all the glory thereof as the flower of the held.


2 There is no peace to the wicked, saith the Lord.


And he shall give the ungodly for his burial, and the rich for his death: because he hath done no iniquity, neither was there deceit in his mouth.


8 The prophet that hath a dream, let him tell a dream: and he that hath my word, let him speak my word with truth: what hath the chaff to do with the wheat, saith the Lord?


And I heard the voice of his words: and when I heard, I lay in a consternation, upon my face, and my face was close to the ground.


And from the first year of Darius the Mede I stood up that he might be strengthened and confirmed.


But if any man shall not fall down and adore, he shall the same hour be cast into a furnace of burning fire.


5 And I will strike the winter house with the summer house: and the houses of ivory shall perish, and many houses shall be destroyed, saith the Lord.


Now, why art thou drawn together with grief? Hast thou no king in thee, or is thy counsellor perished, because sorrow hath taken thee as a woman in labour?


9 Out of Jacob shall he come that shall rule, and shall destroy the remains of the city.


4 And Simeon blessed them, and said to Mary his mother: Behold this child is set for the fall, and for the resurrection of many in Israel, and for a sign which shall be contradicted;


5 For David saith concerning him: I foresaw the Lord before my face: because he is at my right hand, that I may not be moved.


7 And my wrath shall be kindled against them in that day: and I will forsake them, and will hide my face from them, and they shall be devoured: all evils and afflictions shall find them, so that they shall say in that day: In truth it is because God is not with me, that these evils have found me.


5 That thou mightest know that the Lord he is God, and there is no other besides him.


0 For therefore we labor and are reviled, because we hope in the living God, who is the Saviour of all men, especially of the faithful.


0 But thou hast fully known my doctrine, manner of life, purpose, faith, longsuffering, love, patience,


1 They shall perish, but thou shalt continue: and they shall all grow old as a garment.


0 We have an altar, whereof they have no power to eat who serve the tabernacle.


0 The four and twenty ancients fell down before him that sitteth on the throne, and adored him that liveth for ever and ever, and cast their crowns before the throne, saying:
