The chief butler first told his dream: I saw before me a vine,


8 And seven kine came up out of the river exceeding beautiful and full of flesh: and they grazed on green places in a marshy pasture.


6 The seven beautiful kine, and the seven full ears, are seven years of plenty: and both contain the same meaning of the dream.


9 Behold, there shall come seven years of great plenty in the whole land of Egypt:


2 But Eliseus sat in his house, and the ancients sat with him. So he sent a man before: and before that messenger came, he said to the ancients: Do you know that this son of a murderer hath sent to cut off my head? Look then, when the messenger shall come, shut the door, and suffer him not to come in: for behold the sound of his master's feet is behind him.


But if any man shall not fall down and adore, he shall the same hour be cast into a furnace of burning fire.

4 But their senses were made dull. For, until this present day, the selfsame veil, in the reading of the old testament, remaineth not taken away (because in Christ it is made void).


And will take thee to himself, and bring thee into the land which thy fathers possessed, and thou shalt possess it: and blessing thee, he will make thee more numerous than were thy fathers.
