4 Feed thy people with thy rod, the flock of thy inheritance, them that dwell alone in the forest, in the midst of Carmel: they shall feed in Basan and Galaad according to the days of old.


5 The innocent shall be delivered from the hand of the revenger, and shall be brought back by sentence into the city, to which he had fled, and he shall abide there until the death of the high priest, that is anointed with the holy oil.


And Jesus answering, said to them: Take heed that no man seduce you:


But I will shew you whom you shall fear: fear ye him, who after he hath killed, hath power to cast into hell. Yea, I say to you, fear him.


6 Whom when a certain servant maid had seen sitting at the light, and had earnestly beheld him, she said: This man also was with him.


3 All these died according to faith, not having received the promises, but beholding them afar off, and saluting them, and confessing that they are pilgrims and strangers on the earth.


Marriage honourable in all, and the bed undefiled. For fornicators and adulterers God will judge.
