3 And the Lord God sent him out of the paradise of pleasure, to till the earth from which he was taken.


And Adam knew Eve his wife: who conceived and brought forth Cain, saying: I have gotten a man through God.


4 Behold thou dost cast me out this day from the face of the earth, and I shall be hidden from thy face, and I shall be a vagabond and a fugitive on the earth: everyone, therefore, that findeth me, shall kill me.


1 All the beasts of the field shall drink: the wild asses shall expect in their thirst.


Thou hast brought a vineyard out of Egypt: thou hast cast cut the Gentiles and planted it.


Thou didst hear them, O Lord our God: thou wast a merciful God to them, and taking vengeance on all their inventions.

And I saw, and behold there were four wheels by the cherubims: one wheel by one cherub, and another wheel by an- other cherub: and the appearance of the wheels was to the sight like the chrysolite stone:

8 And the Lord opened the mouth of the ass, and she said: What have I done to thee? Why strikest thou me, lo, now this third time?


4 If you shall ask me any thing in my name, that I will do.


For if the word, spoken by angels, became steadfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompense of reward:


Go round about the city, all ye fighting men, once a day: so shall ye do for six days.


Take courage and behave like men, ye Philistines: lest you come to be servants to the Hebrews, as they have served you: take courage and fight.
