6 And I will make thy seed as the dust of the earth: if any man be able to number the dust of the earth, he shall be able to number thy seed also.

4 Esau having heard his father's words, roared out with a great cry: and being in a great consternation, said: Bless me also, my father.


2 And the land which I gave to Abraham and Isaac, I will give to thee, and to thy seed after thee.


3 Now when the seven years of the plenty that had been in Egypt were past:


5 So the men took the presents, and double money, and Benjamin: and went down into Egypt, and stood before Joseph.


And he said : I will cause thee to increase and multiply, and I will make of thee a multitude of people: and I will give this land to thee, and to thy seed after thee for an everlasting possession.


So thy two sons who were born to thee in the land of Egypt before I came hither to thee, shall be mine: Ephraim and Manasses shall be reputed to me as Ruben and Simeon.


6 The blessings of thy father are strengthened with the blessings of his fathers: until the desire of the everlasting hills should come; may they be upon the head of Joseph, and upon the crown of the Nazarite among his brethren.


And God blessed Noe and his sons. And he said to them: Increase and multiply, and fill the earth.


Thy wife as a fruitful vine, on the sides of thy house.


May the Lord bless thee out of Sion: and mayest thou see the good things of Jerusalem all the days of thy life.


And he said to his people: Behold the people of the children of Israel are numerous and stronger than we.


I have heard the groaning of the children of Israel, wherewith the Egyptians have oppressed them: and I have remembered my covenant.


Now I am glad: not because you were made sorrowful; but because you were made sorrowful unto penance. For you were made sorrowful according to God, that you might suffer damage by us in nothing.


And they shall see his face: and his name shall be on their foreheads.


And follow where they reap. For I have charged my young men, not to molest thee: and if thou art thirsty, go to the vessels, and drink of the waters whereof the servants drink.
