Now Sarai the wife of Abram, had brought forth no children; having a handmaid, an Egyptian, named Agar,


5 And Agar brought forth a son to Abram: who called his name Ismael.


0 And as for Ismael I have also heard thee. Behold, I will bless him, and increase, and multiply him exceedingly: he shall beget twelve chiefs, and I will make him a great nation.


And the child grew and was weaned: and Abraham made a great feast on the day of his weaning.


5 And they immolated the phase on the fourteenth day of the second month. And the priests and the Levites being at length sanctified offered holocausts in the house of the Lord.
