0 Therefore the sword shall never depart from thy house, because thou hast despised me, and hast taken the wife of Urias the Hethite to be thy wife.


7 But calling the servants that ministered to him, he said: Thrust this woman out from me: and shut the door after her.


4 And I said to them: Which of you hath any gold? and they took and brought it to me: and I cast it into the fire, and this calf came out.


That thou mayst enter into the land that floweth with milk and honey. For I will not go up with thee, because thou art a stiffnecked people: lest I destroy thee in the way.


7 A man that doth violence to the blood of a person, if he flee even to the pit, no man will stay him.


5 He that shall copulate with any beast or cattle, dying let him die, the beast also ye shall kill.


9 Art confident that thou thyself art a guide of the blind, a light of them that are in darkness,


That they may teach the young women to be wise, to love their husbands, to love their children,


3 Let us go forth therefore to him without the camp, bearing his reproach.


And commanded them, saying: Lay an ambush behind the city: and go not very far from it: and be ye all ready.
