2 And he said: Behold Adam is become as one of us, knowing good and evil: now, therefore, lest perhaps he put forth his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever.


4 And he cast out Adam; and placed before the paradise of pleasure Cherubims, and a flaming sword, turning every way, to keep the way of the tree of life.


But of the fruit of the tree which is in the midst of paradise, God hath commanded us that we should not eat; and that we should not touch it, lest perhaps we die.


For God doth know that in what day soever you shall eat thereof, your eyes shall be opened: and you shall be as Gods, knowing good and evil.


The words of the wicked lie in wait for blood: the mouth of the just shall deliver them.


5 Be not afraid of sudden fear, nor of the power of the wicked falling upon thee.


I am the Lord, and there is none else: there is no God, besides me: I girded thee, and thou hast not known me:


The former things of old I have declared, and they went forth out of my mouth, and I have made them to be heard: I did them suddenly and they came to pass.


And I will water the earth with thy stinking blood upon the mountains, and the valleys shall be filled with thee.


I will make all the lights of heaven to mourn over thee: and I will cause darkness upon thy land, saith the Lord God, when thy wounded shall fall in the midst of the land, saith the Lord God.

6 He that eateth my flesh, and drinketh my blood, abideth in me, and I in him.


0 For if a man see him that hath knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not his conscience, being weak, be emboldened to eat those things which are sacrificed to idols ?


But thus rather shall you deal with them: Destroy their altars, and break their statues, and cut down their groves, and burn their graven things.


6 In like manner do penance: if not, I will come to thee quickly, and will fight against them with the sword of my mouth.


1 He that hurteth, let him hurt still: and he that is filthy, let him be filthy still: and he that is just, let him be justified still: and he that is holy, let him be sanctified still.
