And the Lord God brought forth of the ground all manner of trees, fair to behold, and pleasant to eat of: the tree of life also in the midst of paradise: and the tree of knowledge of good and evil.


Now therefore restore the man his wife, for he is a prophet: and he shall pray for thee, and thou shalt live: but if thou wilt not restore her, know that thou shalt surely die, thou and all that are thins.


1 And he said to him: And who hath told thee that thou wast naked, but that thou hast eaten of the tree whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldst not eat?


7 And to Adam he said: Because thou hast hearkened to the voice of thy wife, and hast eaten of the tree, whereof I commanded thee that thou shouldst not eat, cursed is the earth in thy work; with labour and toil shalt thou eat thereof all the days of thy life.


9 In the sweat of thy face shalt thou eat bread till thou return to the earth, out of which thou wast taken: for dust thou art, and into dust thou shalt return.


2 And sending he called for him, and said to him: Did I not protest to thee by the Lord, and tell thee before: On what day soever thou shalt go out and walk abroad any whither, know that thou shalt die? And thou answeredst me: The word that I have heard is good.


And the kingdom was established in the hand of Solomon, and he made affinity with Pharao the king of Egypt: for he took his daughter, and brought her into the city of David, until he had made an end of building his own house, and the house of the Lord, and the wall of Jerusalem round about.


6 Then the princes, and all the people said to the priests, and to the prophets: There is no judgement of death for this man: for he hath spoken to us in the name of the Lord our God.


1 But if the wicked do penance for all his sins which he hath committed, and keep all my commandments, and do judgment, and justice, living he shall live, and shall not die.


And the nations Game together against him on every side out of the provinces, and they spread their net over him, in their wounds he was taken.


2 That grieveth the needy and the poor, that taketh away by violence, that restoreth not the pledge, and that lifteth up his eyes to idols, that committeth abomination:


2 And the hand of the Lord had been upon me in the evening, before he that was fled came: and he opened my mouth till he came to me in the morning, and my mouth being opened, I was silent no more.


6 None of his sins, which he hath committed, shall be imputed to him: he hath done judgment and justice, he shall surely live.


But to them that are contentious, and who obey not the truth, but give credit to iniquity, wrath and indignation.


KNOW you not, brethren, (for I speak to them that know the law,) that the law hath dominion over a man, as long as it liveth?


But sin taking occasion by the commandment, wrought in me all manner of concupiscence. For without the law sin was dead.


0 And if Christ be in you, the body indeed is dead, because of sin; but the spirit liveth, because of justification.


1 I die daily, I protest by your glory, brethren, which I have in Christ Jesus our Lord.


For I will not see you now by the way, for I trust that I shall abide with you some time, if the Lord permit.


9 Why then was the law? It was set because of transgressions, until the seed should come, to whom he made the promise, being ordained by angels in the hand of a mediator.


3 Because the husband is the head of the wife, as Christ is the head of the church. He is the saviour of his body.


Blessed shall be thy barns and blessed thy stores.


0 And that thou mayst love the Lord thy God, and obey his voice, and adhere to him (for he is thy life, and the length of thy days,) that thou mayst dwell in the land, for which the Lord swore to thy fathers Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob that he would give it them.


And the Lord shall do to them as he did to Sehon and Og the kings of the Amorrhites, and to their land, and shall destroy them.

I was exceeding glad, that I found of thy children walking in truth, as we have received a commandment from the Father.

6 And he said to his boy: Go, and fetch me the arrows which I shoot. And when the boy ran, he shot another arrow beyond the boy.


1 And told him that Saul had slain the priests of the Lord.
