6 But in the fourth generation they shall return hither: for as yet the iniquities of the Amorrhites are not at the full until this present time.


0 And the Lord said: The cry of Sodom and Gomorrha is multiplied, and their sin is become exceedingly grievous.


3 For we will destroy this place, because their cry is grown loud before the Lord, who hath sent us to destroy them.


Juda, therefore add to Onan his son: Go in to thy brother's wife and marry her, that thou mayst raise seed to thy brother.


0 With such words as these day by day, both the woman was importunate with the young man, and he refused the adultery.


1 And the earth was corrupted before God, and was filled with iniquity.

8 And he was speaking these things unto them, behold a certain ruler came up, and adored him, saying: Lord, my daughter is even now dead; but come, lay thy hand upon her, and she shall live.


1 For she said within herself: If I shall touch only his garment, I shall be healed.


2 From the beginning of the world it hath not been heard, that any man hath opened the eyes of one born blind.


9 And Jesus said: For judgment I am come into this world; that they who see not, may see; and they who see, may become blind.


And thinkest thou this, O man, that judgest them who do such things, and dost the same, that thou shalt escape the judgment of God?


As he saith also in another place: Thou art a priest for ever, according to the order of Melchisedech.


9 Promising them liberty, whereas they themselves are the slaves of corruption. For by whom a man is overcome, of the same also he is the slave.


6 These are murmurers, full of complaints, walking according to their own desires, and their mouth speaketh proud things, admiring persons for gain's sake.


3 Because it is like the sin of witchcraft, to rebel: and like the crime of idolatry, to refuse to obey. Forasmuch therefore as thou hast rejected the word of the Lord, the Lord hath also rejected thee from being king.
