5 And the Sabeans rushed in, and took all away, and slew the servants with the sword, and I alone have escaped to tell thee.


Arise, O my glory, arise psaltery and harp: I will arise early.


1 By the blessing of the just the city shall be exalted: and by the mouth of the wicked it shall be overthrown.


7 The fear of the Lord is a fountain of life, to decline from the ruin of death.


8 And hath forgotten the covenant of her God: for her house inclineth unto death, and her paths to hell.


4 Who are glad when they have done evil, and rejoice in most wicked things:


5 Be not afraid of sudden fear, nor of the power of the wicked falling upon thee.


Forsake childishness, and live, and walk by the ways of prudence.


8 And he did not know that giants are there, and that her guests are in the depths of hell.


In the morning sow thy seed, and In the evening let not thy hand cease: for thou knowest not which may rather spring up, this or that: and if both together, it shall be the better.


0 Wherefore I left off and my heart renounced labouring any more under the sun.


6 And I have found a woman more bitter than death, who is the hunter's snare, and her heart is a net, and her hands are bands. He that pleaseth God shall escape from her: but he that is a sinner, shall be caught by her.


There is an evil that I have seen under the sun, as it were by an error proceeding from the face of the prince:


I have seen servants upon horses: and princes walking on the ground as servants.

0 For after days and a year, you that are confident shall be troubled: for the vintage is at an end, the gathering shall come no more.


4 The sinners in Sion are afraid, trembling hath seized upon the hypocrites. Which of you can dwell with devouring fire? which of you shall dwell with everlasting burnings?
