Unto the end, a psalm for David. The fool hath said in his heart: There is no God, They are corrupt, and are become abominable in their ways: there is none that doth good, no not one.


7 He that hath mercy on the poor, lendeth to the Lord: and he will repay him.


9 He that tilleth his ground, shall be filled with bread: but he that followeth idleness shall be filled with poverty.


The just taketh notice of the cause of the poor: the wicked is void of knowledge.


If a wise man contend with a fool, whether he be angry or laugh, he shall find no rest.


2 The words of the mouth of a wise man are grace: but the lips of a fool shall throw him down headlong.
