And all the congregation of the children of Israel murmured against Moses and Aaron in the wilderness.


8 In that day the Lord will take away the ornaments of shoes, end little moons,


1 I said: I shall not see the Lord God in the land of the living. I shall behold man no more, nor the inhabitant of rest.


7 And when the wicked turneth himself away from his wickedness, which he hath wrought, and doeth judgment, and justice: he shall save his soul alive.


9 And the children of Israel say: The way of the Lord is not right. Are not my ways right, O house of Israel, and are not rather your ways perverse?


And she brought out one of her whelps, and he became a lion: and he learned to catch the prey, and to devour men.


3 That giveth upon usury, and that taketh an increase: shall such a one live? he shall not live. Seeing he hath done all these detestable things, he shall surely die, his blood shall be upon him.


2 And the hand of the Lord had been upon me in the evening, before he that was fled came: and he opened my mouth till he came to me in the morning, and my mouth being opened, I was silent no more.


4 Son of man, they that dwell in these ruinous places in the land of Israel, speak, saying: Abraham was one, and he inherited the land, but we are many, the land is given us in possession.


7 Say thou thus to them: Thus saith the Lord God: As I live, they that dwell in the ruinous places, shall fall by the sword: and he that is in the field, shall be given to the beasts to be devoured: and they that are in holds, and caves, shall die of the pestilence.


Lament like a virgin girded with sackcloth for the husband of her youth.


7 I know that you are the children of Abraham: but you seek to kill me, because my word hath no place in you.


0 Loving one another with the charity of brotherhood, with honour preventing one another.


0 Beware lest thou imitate them, after they are destroyed at thy coming in, and lest thou seek after their ceremonies, saying: As these nations have worshipped their gods, so will I also worship.


If there rise in the midst of thee a prophet or one that saith he hath dreamed a dream, and he foretell a sign and a wonder,


The hart and the roe, the buffle, the chamois, the pygarg, the wild goat, the camelopardalus.


5 And these are the testimonies and ceremonies and judgments, which he spoke to the children of Israel, when they came out of Egypt,


These are the precepts, and ceremonies, and judgments, which the Lord your God commanded that I should teach you, and that you should do them in the land into which you pass over to possess it:


Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with thy whole heart, and with thy whole soul, and with thy whole strength.


5 Because the Lord thy God is a jealous God in the midst of thee: lest at any time the wrath of the Lord thy God be kindled against thee, and take thee away from the face of the earth.


4 And the Lord commanded that we should do all these ordinances, and should fear the Lord our God, that it might be well with us all the days of our life, as it is at this day.


6 And fed thee in the wilderness with manna which thy fathers knew not. And after he had afflicted and proved thee, at the last he had mercy on thee,
