1 He said unto him: Go down, and charge the people: lest they should have a mind to pass the limits to see the Lord, and a very great multitude of them should perish.


2 The priests also that come to the Lord, let them be sanctified, lest he strike them.


2 And thou shalt appoint certain limits to the people round about, and thou shalt say to them: Take heed you go not up into the mount, and that ye touch not the borders thereof: every one that toucheth the mount dying he shall die.


And the Lord spoke to Moses, saying:


7 The similitude of any beasts, that are upon the earth, or of birds, that fly under heaven,


0 But the Lord hath taken you and brought you out of the iron furnace of Egypt, to make you his people of inheritance, as it is this present day.


8 To destroy at thy coming very great nations, and stronger than thou art, and to bring thee in, and give thee their land for a possession, as thou seest at this present day.


0 That when thou hast eaten, and art full, thou mayst bless the Lord thy God for the excellent land which he hath given thee.


7 And in that he saith, Yet once more, he signifieth the translation of the moveable things as made, that those things may remain which are immoveable.


Let your manners be without covetousness, contented with such things as you have; for he hath said: I will not leave thee, neither will I forsake thee.
