4 And the king turned his face, and blessed all the assembly of Israel: for all the assembly of Israel stood.


Then Solomon said: The Lord promised that he would dwell in a cloud.


2 And he answered him: Let not my lord be offended: for thou knowest this people, that they are prone to evil.


Then he cut out two tables of stone, such as had been before: and rising very early he went up into the mount Sinai, as the Lord had commanded him, carrying with him the tables.
