16 4 Seventy weeks are shortened upon thy people, and upon thy holy city, that transgression may be finished, and sin may have an end, and iniquity may be abolished; and everlasting justice may be brought; and vision and prophecy may be fulfilled; and the saint of saints may be anointed.

2 They have taken gifts in thee to shed blood: thou hast taken usury and increase, and hast covetously oppressed thy neighbours: and then hast forgotten me, saith the Lord God.


And I will lay the dead carcasses of the children of Israel before your idols: and I will scatter Sour bones round about your altars,


And I heard, and understood not. And I said: O my lord, what shall be after these things?


In the third year of Cyrus king of the Persians, a word was revealed to Daniel surnamed Baltassar, and a true word, and great strength: and he understood the word: for there is need of understanding in a vision.


And I will send a fire into the house of Azael, and it shall devour the houses of Benadad.


1 But now I will not deal with the remnant of this people according to the former days, saith the Lord of hosts.


Let no man deceive you by any means, for unless there come a revolt first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition,


Again a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true both in him and in you; because the darkness is passed, and the true light now shineth.
