And when Silas and Timothy were come from Macedonia, Paul was earnest in preaching, testifying to the Jews, that Jesus is the Christ.

0 And with very many other words did he testify and exhort them, saying: Save yourselves from this perverse generation.


5 Jesus answered them: I speak to you, and you believe not: the works that I do in the name of my Father, they give testimony of me.


This man came to Jesus by night, and said to him: Rabbi, we know that thou art come a teacher from God; for no man can do these signs which thou dost, unless God be with him.


1 Behold, ye despisers, and wonder, and perish: for I work a work in your days, a work which you will not believe, if any man shall tell it you.


2 And as they went out, they desired them, that on the next sabbath, they would speak unto them these words.


5 And the Jews seeing the multitudes, were filled with envy, and contradicted those things which were said by Paul, blaspheming.
