1 And that thou wouldst hear the prayer which thy servant prayeth in it: hearken then to the prayers of thy servant, and of thy people Israel. Whosoever shall pray in this place, hear thou from thy dwelling place, that is, from heaven, and shew mercy.


3 Dissemblers and crafty men prove the wrath of God, neither shall they cry when they are bound.

5 The aged and honourable, he is the head: and the prophet that teacheth lies, he is the tail.

5 Thus saith the Lord: If I have not set my covenant between day and night, and laws to heaven and earth:


The Persians, Ethiopians, and Libyans with them, all with shields and helmets.


Then the nobles, the magistrates, and the judges, the captains, and rulers, and the great men that were placed in authority, and all the princes of the provinces, were gathered together to come to the dedication of the statue, which king Nabuchodonosor had set up. 2 Till the Ancient of days came and gave judgment to the saints of the most High, and the time came, and the saints obtained the kingdom.


6 For what doth it profit a man, if he gain the whole world, and suffer the loss of his own soul? Or what exchange shall a man give for his soul?


2 However, many of the chief men also believed in him; but because of the Pharisees they did not confess him, that they might not be cast out of the synagogue.


How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation? which having begun to be declared by the Lord, was confirmed unto us by them that heard him.


And she brought forth a man child, who was to rule all nations with an iron rod: and her son was taken up to God, and to his throne.


3 And blessed be thou, who hast kept me to day, from coming to blood, and revenging me with my own hand.
