Gather yourselves together, and hear, O ye sons of Jacob, hearken to Israel your father:


9 I will consume them and break them in pieces, so that they shall not rise: they shall fall under my feet.


Neither is my house so great with God, that he should make with me an eternal covenant, firm in all things and assured. For he is all my salvation, and all my will: neither is there ought thereof that springeth not up.


2 Remember his wonderful works, which he hath done: his signs, and the judgments of his mouth.


4 He is the Lord our God: his judgments are in all the earth.


The psalm of David when he fled from the face of his son Absalom: Why, O Lord, are they multiplied that afflict me? many are they who rise up against me.


Their iniquity hath come forth, as it were from fatness: they have passed into the affection of the heart.
