5 And when all the people came to take meat with David, while it was yet broad day, David swore, saying: So do God to me, and more also, if I taste bread or any thing else before sunset.


But let there be no reckoning made with them of the money which they receive, but let them have it in their power, and in their trust.


Now therefore, my son, hear me, and depart not from the words of my mouth.


2 And he said to the Rubenites, and the Gadites, and the half tribe of Manasses:


1 his only take care of with all diligence, that you love the Lord your God.
