7 And God heard the voice of the boy: and an angel of God called to Agar from heaven, saying: What art thou doing, Agar? fear not: for God hath heard the voice of the boy, from the place wherein he is.

4 And his servants conspired against him, and slew him in his own house.


8 And I said to them: You are the holy ones of the Lord, and the vessels are holy, and the silver and gold, that is freely offered to the Lord the God of our fathers.


Now also my words are in bitterness, and the hand of my scourge is more grievous than my mourning.


2 Understand these things, you that forget God; lest he snatch you away, and there be none to deliver you.


1 And they turned back and tempted God: and grieved the holy one of Israel.


For the cry of the children of Israel is come unto me: and I have seen their affliction, wherewith they are oppressed by the Egyptians.


1 And Moses said to God: Who am I that I should go to Pharao, and should bring forth the children of Israel out of Egypt?


I am the Lord that keep it, I will suddenly give it drink: lest any hurt come to it, I keep it night and day.


7 Why hast thou made us to err, O Lord, from thy ways: why hast thou hardened our heart, that we should not fear thee? return for the sake of thy servants, the tribes of thy inheritance.


5 And thou hast said: I am without sin and am innocent: and therefore let thy anger be turned away from me. Behold, I will contend with thee in judgement, because thou hast said: I have not sinned.


1 The voice of joy and the voice of gladness, the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride, the voice of them that shall say: Give ye glory to the Lord of hosts, for the Lord is good, for his mercy endureth for ever: and of them that shall bring their vows into the house of the Lord: for I will bring back the captivity of the land as at the first, saith the Lord.


2 And removing from thence, they came to the torrent Zared:


5 And the children of Israel said to the Lord: We have sinned, do thou unto us whatsoever pleaseth thee: only deliver us this time.
