7 And she was a widow until fourscore and four years; who departed not from the temple, by fastings and prayers serving night and day.


4 The multitude answered him: We have heard out of the law, that Christ abideth for ever; and how sayest thou: The Son of man must be lifted up? Who is this Son of man?


1 Believe you not that I am in the Father, and the Father in me?


As soon therefore as he had said to them: I am he; they went backward, and fell to the ground.


1 Now they have heard of thee that thou teachest those Jews, who are among the Gentiles, to depart from Moses: saying, that they ought not to circumcise their children, nor walk according to the custom.


5 And Christ died for all; that they also who live, may not now live to themselves, but unto him who died for them, and rose again.


8 But all things are of God, who hath reconciled us to himself by Christ; and hath given to us the ministry of reconciliation.


1 For this is the declaration, which you have heard from the beginning, that you should love one another.


2 Behold, I come quickly; and my reward is with me, to render to every man according to his works.
