And he came to the sheepcotes, which were in his way. And there was a cave, into which Saul went, to ease nature: now David and his men lay hid in the inner part of the cave.


And the Philistines were gathered together, and came and camped in Sunam: and Saul also gathered together all Israel, and came to Gelboe.


And had taken the women captives that were in it, both little and great: and they had not killed any person, but had carried them with them, and went on their way.


And the whole weight of the battle was turned upon Saul: and the archers overtook him, and he was grievously wounded by the archers.
