8 And the king said to Doeg: Turn thou, and fall upon the priests. And Doeg the Edomite turned, and fell upon the priests and slew in that day eighty-five men that wore the linen ephod.


1 And told him that Saul had slain the priests of the Lord.


2 May God do so and so, and add more to the foes of David, if I leave of all that belong to him till the morning, any that pisseth against the wall.


6 Your servants also and handmaids, and your goodliest young men, and your asses he will take away, and put them to his work.
