2 And one answered another, saying: And who is their father? therefore it became a proverb: Is Saul also among the prophets?


3 So whensoever the evil spirit from the Lord was upon Saul, David took his harp, and played with his hand, and Saul was refreshed, and was better, for the evil spirit departed from him.


0 But Michol the other daughter of Saul loved David. And it was told Saul, and it pleased him.


3 And Michol took an image and laid it on the bed, and put a goat's skin with the hair at the head of it, and covered it with clothes.


And the people returned to the camp: and the ancients of Israel said: Why hath the Lord defeated us to day before the Philistines? Let us fetch unto us the ark of the covenant of the Lord from Silo, and let it come in the midst of us, that it may save us from the hand of our enemies.
