6 And Samuel said to Saul: Suffer me, and I will tell thee what the Lord hath said to me this night. And he said to him: Speak.


5 But now bear, I beseech thee, my sin, and return with me, that I may adore the Lord.


4 And Samuel said: What meaneth then this bleating of the flocks, which soundeth in my ears, and the lowing of the herds, which I hear?


6 And Saul went on this side of the mountain: and David and his men were on the other side of the mountain: and David despaired of being able to escape from the face of Saul: and Saul and his men encompassed David and his men round about to take them.


9 And she said to her servants: Go before me: behold I will follow after you: but she told not her husband Nabal.
