3 Of this man's seed God according to his promise, hath raised up to Israel a Saviour, Jesus:


And when Paul and Barnabas had no small contest with them, they determined that Paul and Barnabas, and certain others of the other side, should go up to the apostles and priests to Jerusalem about this question.


0 But Paul choosing Silas, departed, being delivered by the brethren to the grace of God.


And it was about the space of three hours after, when his wife, not knowing what had happened, came in.

6 Being of one mind one towards another. Not minding high things, but consenting to the humble. Be not wise in your own conceits.


Now the God of patience and of comfort grant you to be of one mind one towards another, according to Jesus Christ:


1 And again: Praise the Lord, all ye Gentiles; and magnify him, all ye people.


2 Be without offence to the Jews, and to the Gentiles, and to the church of God:


1 In the law it is written: In other tongues and other lips I will speak to this people; and neither so will they hear me, saith the Lord.


6 How is it then, brethren ? When you come together, every one of you hath a psalm, hath a doctrine, hath a revelation, hath a tongue, hath an interpretation: let all things be done to edification.


5 But if they would learn any thing, let them ask their husbands at home. For it is a shame for a woman to speak in the church.


0 But let all things be done decently, and according to order.


0 For if a man see him that hath knowledge sit at meat in the idol's temple, shall not his conscience, being weak, be emboldened to eat those things which are sacrificed to idols ?


3 For we write no other things to you than what you have read and known. And I hope that you shall know unto the end:


6 To the one indeed the odour of death unto death: but to the others the odour of life unto life. And for these things who is so sufficient?


Let no man deceive you with vain words. For because of these things cometh the anger of God upon the children of unbelief.


As it is meet for me to think this for you all, for that I have you in my heart; and that in my bands, and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, you all are partakers of my joy.


7 And say to Archippus: Take heed to the ministry which thou hast received in the Lord, that thou fulfil it.


2 We testified to every one of you, that you would walk worthy of God, who hath called you unto his kingdom and glory.


1 Now God himself and our Father, and our Lord Jesus Christ, direct our way unto you.


0 For indeed you do it towards all the brethren in all Macedonia. But we entreat you, brethren, that you abound more:


For God hath not appointed us unto wrath, but unto the purchasing of salvation by our Lord Jesus Christ,


As I desired thee to remain at Ephesus when I went into Macedonia, that thou mightest charge some not to teach otherwise,


3 Who before was a blasphemer, and a persecutor, and contumelious. But I obtained the mercy of God, because I did it ignorantly in unbelief.


For she that liveth in pleasures, is dead while she is living.


1 But thou, O man of God, fly these things: and pursue justice, godliness, faith, charity, patience, mildness.


1 Only Luke is with me. Take Mark, and bring him with thee: for he is profitable to me for the ministry.


That the aged men be sober, chaste, prudent, sound in faith, in love, in patience.


But avoid foolish questions, and genealogies, and contentions, and strivings about the law. For they are unprofitable and vain.


5 These things speak, and exhort and rebuke with all authority. Let no man despise thee.


For we ourselves also were some time unwise, incredulous, erring, slaves to divers desires and pleasures, living in malice and envy, hateful, and hating one another.


4 For you both had compassion on them that were in bands, and took with joy the being stripped of your own goods, knowing that you have a better and a lasting substance.


But let him ask in faith, nothing wavering. For he that wavereth is like a wave of the sea, which is moved and carried about by the wind.


For we, who have believed, shall enter into rest; as he said: As I have sworn in my wrath; If they shall enter into my rest; and this indeed when the works from the foundation of the world were finished.


And in godliness, love of brotherhood; and in love of brotherhood, charity.


John to the seven churches which are in Asia. Grace be unto you and peace from him that is, and that was, and that is to come, and from the seven spirits which are before his throne,
