7 And if thy eye scandalize thee, pluck it out. It is better for thee with one eye to enter into the kingdom of God, than having two eyes to be cast into the hell of fire:


1 When Jesus had said these things, he was troubled in spirit; and he testified, and said: Amen, amen I say to you, one of you shall betray me.


2 The disciples therefore looked one upon another, doubting of whom he spoke.


But I tell you the truth: it is expedient to you that I go: for if I go not, the Paraclete will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you.


Who said: Who art thou, Lord? And he: I am Jesus whom thou persecutest. It is hard for thee to kick against the goad.


7 Faith then cometh by hearing; and hearing by the word of Christ.


1 For when the children were not yet born, nor had done any good or evil (that the purpose of God, according to election, might stand,)


That our hope for you may be steadfast: knowing that as you are partakers of the sufferings, so shall you be also of the consolation.


And if unto others I be not an apostle, but yet to you I am. For you are the seal of my apostleship in the Lord.


3 For such false apostles are deceitful workmen, transforming themselves into the apostles of Christ.


4 But their senses were made dull. For, until this present day, the selfsame veil, in the reading of the old testament, remaineth not taken away (because in Christ it is made void).


2 But the scripture hath concluded all under sin, that the promise, by the faith of Jesus Christ, might be given to them that believe.


A woman shall not be clothed with man's apparel, neither shall a man use woman's apparel : for he that doeth these things is abominable before God.


9 Write therefore the things which thou hast seen, and which are, and which must be done hereafter.
