1 Blessed are ye that hunger now: for you shall be filled. Blessed are ye that weep now: for you shall laugh.


4 If I had not done among them the works that no other man hath done, they would not have sin; but now they have both seen and hated both me and my Father.

8 Then they also that are fallen asleep in Christ, are perished.


8 Let no man deceive himself: if any man among you seem to be wise in this world, let him become a fool, that he may be wise.


0 Who hath delivered and doth deliver us out of so great dangers: in whom we trust that he will yet also deliver us.


4 And no wonder: for Satan himself transformeth himself into an angel of light.


1 Lest again, when I come, God humble me among you: and I mourn many of them that sinned before, and have not done penance for the uncleanness, and fornication, and lasciviousness, that they have committed.


4 In this present time let your abundance supply their want, that their abundance also may supply your want, that there may be an equality,


0 For do I now persuade men, or God? Or do I seek to please men? If I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ.


0 In the dispensation of the fulness of times, to re-establish all things in Christ, that are in heaven and on earth, in him.


0 But you have not so learned Christ;


0 That you may walk worthy of God, in all things pleasing; being fruitful in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God:


0 For fornicators, for them who defile themselves with mankind, for menstealers, for liars, for perjured persons, and whatever other thing is contrary to sound doctrine,


A faithful saying: if a man desire the office of a bishop, he desireth a good work.


0 But is now made manifest by the illumination of our Saviour Jesus Christ, who hath destroyed death, and hath brought to light life and incorruption by the gospel:
