So, Jesus went along with the man, and was being thronged by a large crowd that followed Him.


Now when He approached the town gate, He saw a dead man being carried out; it was the only son of his widowed mother. And many people from the town were with her.


And just then an official of the [Jewish] synagogue named Jairus came to Him and fell at His feet [i.e., worshiping. See Matt. 9:18] and begged Him to go to his house,


Then a woman, who had been bleeding for twelve years, and who had spent all her income on doctors without being healed by any of them,


Jesus said, “Who touched me?” And when everyone denied [doing it], Peter and the disciples said, “Master, many people are pressing in on you and crowding you.”


For even before the Law of Moses, sin was [being committed] in the world. But man is not responsible for [his] sin when there is no law.
