But many of the people who heard the message [of God] believed [in Jesus] and the number of men [alone] came to be about five thousand.


Then those who responded [by faith] to the words [spoken by Peter and the apostles] were immersed, and about three thousand persons were added to them [i.e., the apostles] on that day.


And when they heard [all] this, they gave honor to God, then said to Paul, “Brother, you can see how many thousands of Jewish believers [in Christ] there are [everywhere] and all of them are eager to observe the [requirements of the] Law of Moses.


He answered them, “[It was] because you had such little faith. For truly I tell you, if you have faith as [small as] a mustard tree seed, you could say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to that place over there’ and it would move. And nothing will be impossible for you [to do].”


Then the seventh angel sounded its trumpet, and there were loud voices in heaven saying, “The kingdom of the world has become the kingdom of our Lord [i.e., God] and of His Christ, and He will rule forever and ever.”


in the power demonstrated by [miraculous] signs and wonders, [produced] by the power of the Holy Spirit. And the Lord said, “If you had faith as [small as] a mustard tree seed, you could say to this mulberry tree, ‘Be uprooted and replanted in the ocean,’ and it would obey you.


And He continued to speak, “What shall I compare the kingdom of God to? Or, what parable will [best] illustrate it?
