I want to share something powerful with you. Through Jesus, you can overcome sin and any obstacle you face. He came to save us and conquered every temptation without sinning. His sacrifice offers forgiveness, and his resurrection proves his power over death itself.
God's healing goes far beyond just managing cravings or vices; His immense power completely eradicates addiction. Jesus defeated the enemy and is ready to free you from despair and death.
All you have to do is allow the Holy Spirit to transform your life. No excuses. In Christ, you'll find the strength to overcome anything. Hang in there! You can be a living testament to Jesus' transforming power.
For freedom Christ has set us free. Stand firm, therefore, and do not be subject again to a yoke of slavery.
All things are permitted for me, but not all things are profitable. All things are permitted for me, but I will not be controlled by anything.
nor thieves, nor greedy persons, not drunkards, not abusive persons, not swindlers will inherit the kingdom of God.
And Noah began to be a man of the ground, and he planted a vineyard.And he drank some of the wine and became drunk, and he exposed himself in the midst of his tent.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just, so that he will forgive us our sins and will cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
Be sober; be on the alert. Your adversary the devil walks around like a roaring lion, looking for someone to devour.

Temptation has not come upon you except what is common to humanity. But God is faithful, who will not permit you to be tempted beyond what you are able, but will also make a way out together with the temptation, so that you may be able to endure it.
It is good not to eat meat or to drink wine or to do anything by which your brother stumbles or is offended or is weakened.
You will not bow down to them, and you will not serve them, because I am Yahweh your God, a jealous God, punishing the guilt of the parents on the children on the third and on the fourth generations of those hating me,
Stay awake and pray that you will not enter into temptation. The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak!”
“You and your sons with you may not drink wine or strong drink when you come to the tent of assembly, so that you will not die—it is a lasting statute for your generations—
For if we have become identified with him in the likeness of his death, certainly also we will be identified with him in the likeness of his resurrection,knowing this, that our old man was crucified together with him, in order that the body of sin may be done away with, that we may no longer be enslaved to sin.
For the grace of God has appeared, bringing salvation to all people,training us in order that, denying impiety and worldly desires, we may live self-controlled and righteously and godly in the present age,
he will abstain from wine and fermented drink; he will not drink wine vinegar or vinegar of fermented drink; he will not drink the fruit juice of grapes or eat fresh or dry grapes.

A man of want is he who loves pleasure; he who loves wine and oil will not become rich.
You, my child, hear and be wise, and direct your heart on the road.and you shall put a knife to your throat if you have a big appetite.Do not be among drinkers of wine, among gluttonous eaters of their meat.

Now, let Daniel be called and he will tell the explanation.”Then Daniel was brought in before the king, and the king spoke and said to Daniel, “You are Daniel who are one of the exiles of Judah whom my predecessor, the king, brought from Judah.And I have heard that a spirit of the gods is in you and enlightenment and insight and excellent wisdom was found in you.And now the wise men and the conjurers were brought in before me so that they could read this writing in order to make its explanation known to me, but they were not able to disclose the explanation of the matter.But I have heard concerning you that you are able to produce interpretations and to solve riddles; now if you are able to read the writing and to make known its explanation to me, you will be clothed in purple and a necklace of gold will be placed around your neck and you will rule as third in command in the kingdom.”Then Daniel answered and said before the king, “Let your gifts be for yourself or your rewards give to another; nevertheless, I will read the writing to the king and I will make known to him the explanation.O king, the Most High God gave the kingdom and the greatness and the glory and the majesty to Nebuchadnezzar your predecessor.And because of the greatness that he gave to him, all the peoples, the nations and languages trembled and feared before him; whomever he wanted he killed, and whomever he wanted he let live, and whomever he wanted he honored, and whomever he wanted he humbled.When he tasted the wine, Belshazzar commanded that they bring the vessels of gold and silver that Nebuchadnezzar his predecessor had taken from the temple that was in Jerusalem, so that the king and his lords, his wives and his concubines may drink from them.
And now you have exalted yourself against the Lord of heaven, and the vessels of his temple you have brought in before you, and you and your lords, your wives and your concubines, have been drinking wine from them, and you have praised the gods of silver, gold, bronze, iron, wood, and stone that do not see and do not hear and do not know, but the God who holds your life in his hand and all of your ways come from him, you have not honored.
Wake up, drunkards, and weep! Wail, all drinkers of wine, over the new wine, for it is cut off from your mouth.
They stretch themselves out beside every altar on clothing taken in pledge and they drink wine, bought with fines imposed, in the house of their God.
If a man walks about in a spirit of deception and lies, saying “I will preach to you of wine and strong drink,” then he would be a preacher for this people!
How much less the defiant; the arrogant, treacherous man? He who broadens his throat like Sheol, and who, like death, is not satisfied, and who gathers to himself all the nations, and harvested for himself all the peoples, will not succeed.
Woe to him who gives a drink to his neighbors, pouring out your wrath and also making them drunk in order to see their nakedness!
For John came neither eating nor drinking, and they say, ‘He has a demon!’The Son of Man came eating and drinking, and they say, ‘Behold, a man who is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’ But wisdom is vindicated by her deeds.”
For he will be great in the sight of the Lord, and he must never drink wine or beer, and he will be filled with the Holy Spirit while he is still in his mother’s womb.
For John the Baptist has come not eating bread or drinking wine, and you say, ‘He has a demon!’The Son of Man has come eating and drinking, and you say, ‘Behold, a man who is a glutton and a drunkard, a friend of tax collectors and sinners!’

So then, we must not sleep like the rest, but must be on the alert and be self-controlled.For those who sleep, sleep at night, and those who get drunk, are drunk at night.But because we are of the day, we must be sober, by putting on the breastplate of faith and love and as a helmet the hope of salvation,
Therefore the overseer must be irreproachable, the husband of one wife, temperate, self-controlled, respectable, hospitable, skillful in teaching,not addicted to wine, not a violent person, but gentle, peaceable, not loving money,
Deacons likewise must be dignified, not insincere, not devoted to much wine, not fond of dishonest gain,
(No longer drink only water, but use a little wine for your stomach and your frequent illnesses.)
For it is necessary for the overseer to be blameless as God’s steward, not self-willed, not quick-tempered, not addicted to wine, not violent, not greedy for dishonest gain,
Older women likewise are to be reverent in their behavior, not slanderous, not enslaved to much wine, teaching what is good,
Therefore, when you have prepared your minds for action by being self-controlled, put your hope completely in the grace that will be brought to you at the revelation of Jesus Christ.
For the time that has passed was sufficient to do what the Gentiles desire to do, having lived in licentiousness, evil desires, drunkenness, carousing, drinking parties, and wanton idolatries,
Yahweh has mixed a spirit of confusion into her midst, and they have caused Egypt to stagger in all of its doings, as when a drunkard staggers in his vomit.

Give strong drink to him who is perishing, and wine to those in bitter distress.He will drink and forget his poverty, and his misery he will not remember any more.
But if that evil slave should say to himself, ‘My master is staying away for a long time,’and he begins to beat his fellow slaves and eats and drinks with drunkards,
But I discipline my body and subjugate it, lest somehow after preaching to others, I myself should become disqualified.
Therefore, consider carefully how you live, not as unwise but as wise,making the most of the time because the days are evil.Because of this do not become foolish, but understand what the will of the Lord is.And do not be drunk with wine (in which is dissipation), but be filled by the Spirit,
Fix your attention on yourself and on your teaching. Continue in them, for by doing this you will save both yourself and those who hear you.
But watch out lest somehow this right of yours becomes a cause for stumbling to the weak.
“But take care for yourselves, lest your hearts are weighed down with dissipation and drunkenness and the worries of daily life, and that day come upon you suddenly
Yahweh is the portion which is my share and my cup. You hold my lot.The measuring lines have fallen for me in pleasant places. Yes, my inheritance is delightful for me.
You prepare before me a table in the presence of my oppressors. You anoint my head with oil; my cup is overflowing.
Blessed are you, O land, when your king is a son of nobility and your princes feast at the proper time— to gain strength and not to get drunk.
For I tell you, from now on I will not drink of the product of the vine until the kingdom of God comes.”
