I know life can throw some serious curveballs, and it's easy to feel overwhelmed and lose your peace. But I want you to remember that even when things get tough, you're not alone. God is always there with you.
His word offers incredible strength in those difficult moments. Philippians 4:61 says, "Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God." Think about that for a second. No matter what you're facing, you can bring it to God.
Let that peace of Christ settle in your heart. Trust in His truth. What really matters isn't what your circumstances might say about you right now, but what your Heavenly Father has planned for your life in eternity.
1Philippians 4:6 New International Version
But as for me, I will sing of your strength, and I will hail your loyal love in the morning, because you have been my high stronghold and a refuge in my time of trouble.
In my trouble I called on Yahweh, and to my God I cried for help. He heard my voice from his temple, and my cry for help came up before his presence into his ears.
They cry out and Yahweh hears and delivers them from all of their troubles.Yahweh is near to those who are heartbroken and saves those who are crushed in spirit.
I have said these things to you so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have affliction, but have courage! I have conquered the world.”
Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known to God.And the peace of God that surpasses all understanding will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.
And he will wipe away every tear from their eyes, and death will not exist any longer, and mourning or wailing or pain will not exist any longer. The former things have passed away.”
Come to me, all of you who labor and are burdened, and I will give you rest.Take my yoke on you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.and said to him, “Are you the one who is to come, or should we look for another?”For my yoke is easy to carry and my burden is light.”
You must not fear, for I am with you; you must not be afraid, for I am your God. I will strengthen you, indeed I will help you, indeed I will take hold of you with the right hand of my salvation.
Cast your burden on Yahweh, and he will sustain you. He will never allow the righteous to be moved.
Why are you in despair, O my soul? And why are you disturbed within me? Hope in God, because I shall again praise him, my salvation and my God.
Hear, O God, my cry; attend to my prayer. From the end of the earth I call to you when my heart grows faint. You will lead me to a rock that is higher than I.
Then he said to them, “Go, eat festive food and drink sweet drinks, and send a share to those for whom nothing is prepared; for this day is holy to our lord. Do not be grieved because the joy of Yahweh is your refuge.”
And we know that all things work together for good for those who love God, for those who are called according to his purpose,
Why are you in despair, O my soul, and disturbed within me? Hope in God, because I will again praise him, for the salvation of his presence.
Though the fig tree does not blossom, nor there be fruit on the vines; the yield of the olive tree fails, and the cultivated fields do not yield food; the flock is cut off from the animal pen, and there is no cattle in the stalls,Yet I will rejoice in Yahweh; I will exult in the God of my salvation.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they shall not flow over you. When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not scorch you.
Dear friend, I pray you may prosper concerning everything and be healthy, just as your soul prospers.
Be strong and be courageous; you should not be afraid, and you should not be in dread from their presence, for Yahweh your God is the one going with you; he will not leave you alone and he will not forsake you.”
Blessed is the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in all affliction with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.
For there is a moment in his anger; there is a lifetime in his favor. Weeping lodges for the evening, but in the morning comes rejoicing.
Even when I walk in a dark valley, I fear no evil because you are with me. Your rod and your staff, they comfort me.
“Peace I leave with you; my peace I give to you—not as the world gives, I give to you. Do not let your hearts be troubled, and do not let them be afraid.
Yahweh is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? Yahweh is the refuge of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? If my father or my mother forsake me, then Yahweh will receive me.Teach me, O Yahweh, your way, and lead me on a level path because of my enemies.Do not give me over to the desire of my enemies, because false witnesses have arisen against me, and each breathing out violence.Surely I believe that I will see the goodness of Yahweh in the land of the living.Wait for Yahweh. Be strong and let your heart show strength, and wait for Yahweh. When evildoers drew near against me to eat my flesh— my adversaries and my enemies who drew near to me— they themselves stumbled and fell.Though an army encamp against me, my heart will not fear. Though war arise against me, even in this I will remain confident.
For we do not have a high priest who is not able to sympathize with our weaknesses, but who has been tempted in all things in the same way, without sin. Therefore let us approach with confidence to the throne of grace, in order that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.
Every weapon formed against you shall not succeed, and you shall declare guilty every tongue that rises against you for judgment. This is the inheritance of the servants of Yahweh, and their legal right from me,” declares Yahweh.
I lift up my eyes to the mountains; whence will my help come?My help is from Yahweh, maker of heaven and earth.
Your lifestyle must be free from the love of money, being content with what you have. For he himself has said, “I will never desert you, and I will never abandon you.”So then, we can say with confidence, “The Lord is my helper, I will not be afraid. What will man do to me?”
But now thus says Yahweh, he who created you, Jacob, and he who formed you, Israel: “You must not fear, for I have redeemed you. I have called you by your name; you are mine.“You are my witnesses,” declares Yahweh, “and my servant whom I have chosen so that you may know and believe in me and understand that I am he. No god was formed before me, and none shall be after me.I myself am Yahweh, and there is no savior besides me!I myself declared and saved, and I proclaimed. And there was no strange god among you. And you are my witnesses,” declares Yahweh, “and I am God.Indeed, from this day I am the one, and no one can deliver from my hand. I perform, and who can cancel it?”Thus says Yahweh, your redeemer, the holy one of Israel: “For your sake I will send to Babylon, and I will cause all of them to fall down as fugitives, and the Chaldeans, their rejoicing on the ships.I am Yahweh, your holy one, the creator of Israel, your king.”Thus says Yahweh, who makes a way in the sea and a path in the mighty waters, who brings out chariot and horse, army and mighty one. Together they lie down; they cannot rise. They are extinguished, quenched like a wick.“You must not remember the former things, and you not must consider the former things.Look! I am about to do a new thing! Now it sprouts! Do you not perceive it? Indeed, I will make a way in the wilderness, rivers in the desert. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you, and through the rivers, they shall not flow over you. When you walk through fire, you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not scorch you.
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
For I am convinced that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor rulers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God that is in Christ Jesus our Lord.
And the peace of Christ must rule in your hearts, to which also you were called in one body, and be thankful.
Therefore do not be anxious for tomorrow, because tomorrow will be anxious for itself. Each day has enough trouble of its own.
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, self control. Against such things there is no law.
God is our refuge and strength, a very sufficient help in troubles.Be still, and know that I am God. I will be exalted among the nations; I will be exalted in the earth.Yahweh of Hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our high stronghold. Therefore we will not fear though the earth change, and though the mountains totter into the midst of the sea,
