41 Bible Verses for Welcome to Sunday Service

41 Bible Verses for Welcome to Sunday Service

Church services really strengthen my connection with God, reminding me of that parent-child relationship we have with Him. It's like that verse in Leviticus 26:121 that says, "I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people."

I really hope those around me will want to be part of Christ's body, too. As God's children, we're living proof of His power and a walking, talking testament to His word. So let's greet everyone who visits our church with a smile and some encouraging words.

You never know what someone might be going through, so it's important to be so filled with God's presence that when we welcome them, they feel Jesus' embrace. Let's show love, empathy, and kindness all the time, so we can see a reflection of God in everyone we meet.

Let's give people a welcome that leaves a beautiful mark on their lives and makes them want to come back to God's house again and again.

Prayer

Almighty God, to You be all glory and honor! Beloved Holy Spirit, we welcome You, for You are the most important One here. Lord, we've come before You together to express our deepest gratitude and adoration, to celebrate Your wonders with joyful voices, exalting and glorifying Your name. We ask that Your glory be poured out and Your power made manifest in our lives. Your word says, "How good and pleasant it is when God’s people live together in unity!" Lord, bless the life of each and every one of my brothers and sisters; they've chosen to be in the best place they could be. We pray that if anyone has come burdened, You would strengthen them, and if anyone has come sick, that they would be healed from this moment on, for only in Your presence is there healing and deliverance. Thank You, because as a family of faith, we rejoice in Your presence and celebrate Your greatness. In Jesus' name, Amen.
