Church services really strengthen my connection with God, reminding me of that parent-child relationship we have with Him. It's like that verse in Leviticus 26:121 that says, "I will walk among you and be your God, and you will be my people."
I really hope those around me will want to be part of Christ's body, too. As God's children, we're living proof of His power and a walking, talking testament to His word. So let's greet everyone who visits our church with a smile and some encouraging words.
You never know what someone might be going through, so it's important to be so filled with God's presence that when we welcome them, they feel Jesus' embrace. Let's show love, empathy, and kindness all the time, so we can see a reflection of God in everyone we meet.
Let's give people a welcome that leaves a beautiful mark on their lives and makes them want to come back to God's house again and again.
Therefore let us confidently approach the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace whenever we need help.
But those who wait for the Lord’s help find renewed strength; they rise up as if they had eagles’ wings, they run without growing weary, they walk without getting tired.
Shout out praises to the Lord, all the earth!Worship the Lord with joy! Enter his presence with joyful singing!
Enter his gates with thanksgiving, and his courts with praise! Give him thanks! Praise his name!
Now may the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace as you believe in him, so that you may abound in hope by the power of the Holy Spirit.
“The Lord bless you and protect you;The Lord make his face to shine upon you, and be gracious to you;The Lord lift up his countenance upon you and give you peace.”’
May the Lord bless you from Zion, that you might see Jerusalem prosper all the days of your life,
Certainly O Lord, you are kind and forgiving, and show great faithfulness to all who cry out to you.
Dear friend, I pray that all may go well with you and that you may be in good health, just as it is well with your soul.
And my God will supply your every need according to his glorious riches in Christ Jesus.
Now may the God of endurance and comfort give you unity with one another in accordance with Christ Jesus,so that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
Come! Let’s sing for joy to the Lord! Let’s shout out praises to our protector who delivers us!For forty years I was continually disgusted with that generation, and I said, ‘These people desire to go astray; they do not obey my commands.’So I made a vow in my anger, ‘They will never enter into the resting place I had set aside for them.’”Let’s enter his presence with thanksgiving! Let’s shout out to him in celebration!
Jesus said to them, “I am the bread of life. The one who comes to me will never go hungry, and the one who believes in me will never be thirsty.
On the last day of the feast, the greatest day, Jesus stood up and shouted out, “If anyone is thirsty, let him come to me, and
Just as each one has received a gift, use it to serve one another as good stewards of the varied grace of God.Whoever speaks, let it be with God’s words. Whoever serves, do so with the strength that God supplies, so that in everything God will be glorified through Jesus Christ. To him belong the glory and the power forever and ever. Amen.
Therefore I exhort you, brothers and sisters, by the mercies of God, to present your bodies as a sacrifice – alive, holy, and pleasing to God – which is your reasonable service.
Certainly spending just one day in your temple courts is better than spending a thousand elsewhere. I would rather stand at the entrance to the temple of my God than live in the tents of the wicked.
Finally, brothers and sisters, rejoice, set things right, be encouraged, agree with one another, live in peace, and the God of love and peace will be with you.
So then you are no longer foreigners and noncitizens, but you are fellow citizens with the saints and members of God’s household,in which you formerly lived according to this world’s present path, according to the ruler of the kingdom of the air, the ruler of the spirit that is now energizing the sons of disobedience, because you have been built on the foundation of the apostles and prophets, with Christ Jesus himself as the cornerstone. In him the whole building, being joined together, grows into a holy temple in the Lord,in whom you also are being built together into a dwelling place of God in the Spirit.
Therefore, if there is any encouragement in Christ, any comfort provided by love, any fellowship in the Spirit, any affection or mercy,so that at the name of Jesus every knee will bow – in heaven and on earth and under the earth –and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord to the glory of God the Father. So then, my dear friends, just as you have always obeyed, not only in my presence but even more in my absence, continue working out your salvation with awe and reverence, for the one bringing forth in you both the desire and the effort – for the sake of his good pleasure – is God.Do everything without grumbling or arguing,so that you may be blameless and pure, children of God without blemish though you live in a crooked and perverse society, in which you shine as lights in the worldby holding on to the word of life so that on the day of Christ I will have a reason to boast that I did not run in vain nor labor in vain. But even if I am being poured out like a drink offering on the sacrifice and service of your faith, I am glad and rejoice together with all of you.And in the same way you also should be glad and rejoice together with me.Now I hope in the Lord Jesus to send Timothy to you soon, so that I too may be encouraged by hearing news about you.complete my joy and be of the same mind, by having the same love, being united in spirit, and having one purpose.
speaking to one another in psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, singing and making music in your hearts to the Lord, and live in love, just as Christ also loved us and gave himself for us, a sacrificial and fragrant offering to God.always giving thanks to God the Father for each other in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ,
I will bring them to my holy mountain; I will make them happy in the temple where people pray to me. Their burnt offerings and sacrifices will be accepted on my altar, for my temple will be known as a temple where all nations may pray.”
Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and exhorting one another with all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, all with grace in your hearts to God.
Be devoted to one another with mutual love, showing eagerness in honoring one another.Do not lag in zeal, be enthusiastic in spirit, serve the Lord.Rejoice in hope, endure in suffering, persist in prayer.Contribute to the needs of the saints, pursue hospitality.
Always rejoice, constantly pray,in everything give thanks. For this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus.
And let us take thought of how to spur one another on to love and good works, not abandoning our own meetings, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and even more so because you see the day drawing near.
So since we are receiving an unshakable kingdom, let us give thanks, and through this let us offer worship pleasing to God in devotion and awe.For our God is indeed a devouring fire.
Draw near to God and he will draw near to you. Cleanse your hands, you sinners, and make your hearts pure, you double-minded.
But if we walk in the light as he himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another and the blood of Jesus his Son cleanses us from all sin.
