I believe my life has a deeper purpose than just chasing titles or accolades. My mission, as a believer, is to worship God. And to truly do that, I need to come together with my fellow believers and lift up a chorus of praise and surrender in His presence.
It's through humility, dedication, and worship that I can truly exalt God. I trust that the Holy Spirit will guide me in worshipping the living God—the one who created the heavens and the earth, gave me the breath of life, saved me, forgave me, and promised me the kingdom of heaven through his son, Jesus Christ.
Just like it says in John 4:23, the time has come when true worshippers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for they are the kind of worshippers the Father seeks. That's the kind of worshipper I strive to be.
not abandoning our own meetings, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and even more so because you see the day drawing near.
I have told you these things so that in me you may have peace. In the world you have trouble and suffering, but take courage – I have conquered the world.”
For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is God’s power for salvation to everyone who believes, to the Jew first and also to the Greek.
But as for me, I promise to offer a sacrifice to you with a public declaration of praise; I will surely do what I have promised. Salvation belongs to the Lord!”
Then you turned my lament into dancing; you removed my sackcloth and covered me with joy.So now my heart will sing to you and not be silent; O Lord my God, I will always give thanks to you.
Praise the Lord, O my soul! With all that is within me, praise his holy name!He does not deal with us as our sins deserve; he does not repay us as our misdeeds deserve.For as the skies are high above the earth, so his loyal love towers over his faithful followers.As far as the eastern horizon is from the west, so he removes the guilt of our rebellious actions from us.As a father has compassion on his children, so the Lord has compassion on his faithful followers.For he knows what we are made of; he realizes we are made of clay.A person’s life is like grass. But a time is coming – and now is here – when the true worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and truth, for the Father seeks such people to be his worshipers.God is spirit, and the people who worship him must worship in spirit and truth.”
Now we ask you, brothers and sisters, to acknowledge those who labor among you and preside over you in the Lord and admonish you,and to esteem them most highly in love because of their work. Be at peace among yourselves.

They were devoting themselves to the apostles’ teaching and to fellowship, to the breaking of bread and to prayer.Reverential awe came over everyone, and many wonders and miraculous signs came about by the apostles.All who believed were together and held everything in common,and they began selling their property and possessions and distributing the proceeds to everyone, as anyone had need.Every day they continued to gather together by common consent in the temple courts, breaking bread from house to house, sharing their food with glad and humble hearts,praising God and having the good will of all the people. And the Lord was adding to their number every day those who were being saved.
On the first day of the week, when we met to break bread, Paul began to speak to the people, and because he intended to leave the next day, he extended his message until midnight.
At that time you will say: “Praise the Lord! Ask him for help! Publicize his mighty acts among the nations! Make it known that he is unique!Sing to the Lord, for he has done magnificent things, let this be known throughout the earth!Cry out and shout for joy, O citizens of Zion, for the Holy One of Israel acts mightily among you!”
I will praise the Lord at all times; my mouth will continually praise him.Even young lions sometimes lack food and are hungry, but those who seek the Lord lack no good thing.Come children! Let the word of Christ dwell in you richly, teaching and exhorting one another with all wisdom, singing psalms, hymns, and spiritual songs, all with grace in your hearts to God.
And let us take thought of how to spur one another on to love and good works,not abandoning our own meetings, as some are in the habit of doing, but encouraging each other, and even more so because you see the day drawing near.
O Lord, my God, I will give you thanks with my whole heart! I will honor your name continually!
O Lord, my God, you have accomplished many things; you have done amazing things and carried out your purposes for us. No one can thwart you! I want to declare them and talk about them, but they are too numerous to recount!
Sing to the Lord, all the earth! Announce every day how he delivers!Tell the nations about his splendor, tell all the nations about his miraculous deeds!For the Lord is great and certainly worthy of praise, he is more awesome than all gods.
Now may the God of endurance and comfort give you unity with one another in accordance with Christ Jesus,so that together you may with one voice glorify the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ.
I look up toward the hills. From where does my help come?My help comes from the Lord, the Creator of heaven and earth!

But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a people of his own, so that you may proclaim the virtues of the one who called you out of darkness into his marvelous light.
