But they that wait upon the LORD shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; they shall walk, and not faint.

A Psalm of David. The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? the LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?

It is God that girdeth me with strength, and maketh my way perfect.

I can do all things through Christ who strengtheneth me.

The LORD will give strength to his people; the LORD will bless his people with peace.

If thou faintest in the day of adversity, thy strength is small.

And this I pray, that your love may abound yet more and more in knowledge and in all judgment;That ye may approve things that are excellent; that ye may be sincere and without offense till the day of Christ;

And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: for thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.

For thou, LORD, wilt bless the righteous; with favor wilt thou compass him as with a shield.

The LORD is on my side; I will not fear: what can man do to me?

He healeth the broken in heart, and bindeth up their wounds.

Rejoice in the Lord always: and again I say, Rejoice.

And hope maketh not ashamed, because the love of God is shed abroad in our hearts, by the Holy Spirit which is given to us.

But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, a holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should show forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvelous light:

Make thy face to shine upon thy servant: and teach me thy statutes.

And this is the confidence that we have in him, that if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:

Not that we are sufficient by ourselves to think any thing as from ourselves; but our sufficiency is from God;

In the day when I cried thou didst answer me, and strengthen me with strength in my soul.

A Psalm of David, when he was in the wilderness of Judah. O God, thou art my God; early will I seek thee: my soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;To see thy power and thy glory, so as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.Because thy loving-kindness is better than life, my lips shall praise thee.

It is vain for you to rise early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep.

Blessed be the Lord, who daily loadeth us with benefits, even the God of our salvation. Selah.

The LORD is nigh to them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as are of a contrite spirit.

Let your manner of life be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.

In which ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season (if need be) ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:That the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though tried with fire, might be found to praise, and honor, and glory, at the appearing of Jesus Christ:

Commit thy way to the LORD; trust also in him; and he will bring it to pass.

For whatever things were written formerly, were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.

Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, according to thy word to thy servant.

Wait on the LORD, and keep his way, and he will exalt thee to inherit the land: when the wicked are cut off, thou shalt see it.

Then they cry to the LORD in their trouble, and he bringeth them out of their distresses.He maketh the storm a calm, so that the waves of the sea are still.Then are they glad because they are quiet; so he bringeth them to their desired haven.

Blessed are the pure in heart: for they shall see God.
