The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; And saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.
Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for thou art with me; Thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness.
But I would not have you to be ignorant, brethren, concerning them which are asleep, that ye sorrow not, even as others which have no hope.For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him.
For I reckon that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us.
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;who comforteth us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort them which are in any trouble, by the comfort wherewith we ourselves are comforted of God.
For his anger endureth but a moment; in his favour is life: Weeping may endure for a night, but joy cometh in the morning.
It is of the LORD's mercies that we are not consumed, Because his compassions fail not.They are new every morning: Great is thy faithfulness.
Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.
Cast thy burden upon the LORD, and he shall sustain thee: He shall never suffer the righteous to be moved.
Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me.In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you.And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also.
And we know that all things work together for good to them that love God, to them who are the called according to his purpose.
God is our refuge and strength, A very present help in trouble.Therefore will not we fear, though the earth be removed, And though the mountains be carried into the midst of the sea;
The Spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening of the prison to them that are bound;to proclaim the acceptable year of the LORD, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn;to appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the LORD, that he might be glorified.
Let your conversation be without covetousness; and be content with such things as ye have: for he hath said, I will never leave thee, nor forsake thee.
My flesh and my heart faileth: But God is the strength of my heart, and my portion for ever.
And God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes; and there shall be no more death, neither sorrow, nor crying, neither shall there be any more pain: for the former things are passed away.
I had fainted, Unless I had believed to see the goodness of the LORD in the land of the living.Wait on the LORD: Be of good courage, and he shall strengthen thine heart: wait, I say, on the LORD.
He will swallow up death in victory; and the Lord GOD will wipe away tears from off all faces; and the rebuke of his people shall he take away from off all the earth: for the LORD hath spoken it.
O death, where is thy sting? O grave, where is thy victory?The sting of death is sin; and the strength of sin is the law.But thanks be to God, which giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ.
Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:and whosoever liveth and believeth in me shall never die. Believest thou this?
The LORD also will be a refuge for the oppressed, A refuge in times of trouble.And they that know thy name will put their trust in thee: For thou, LORD, hast not forsaken them that seek thee.
For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known.
Truly my soul waiteth upon God: From him cometh my salvation.He only is my rock and my salvation; He is my defence; I shall not be greatly moved.

Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,to an inheritance incorruptible, and undefiled, and that fadeth not away, reserved in heaven for you,
I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.
There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love.
And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you.
I sought the LORD, and he heard me, And delivered me from all my fears.They looked unto him, and were lightened: And their faces were not ashamed.
Let us therefore come boldly unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need.
Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost.
He that dwelleth in the secret place of the Most High Shall abide under the shadow of the Almighty.I will say of the LORD, He is my refuge and my fortress: My God; in him will I trust.
So also is the resurrection of the dead. It is sown in corruption; it is raised in incorruption:it is sown in dishonour; it is raised in glory: it is sown in weakness; it is raised in power:it is sown a natural body; it is raised a spiritual body. There is a natural body, and there is a spiritual body.
And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him:and they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
The righteous perisheth, and no man layeth it to heart: and merciful men are taken away, none considering that the righteous is taken away from the evil to come.He shall enter into peace: they shall rest in their beds, each one walking in his uprightness.

Bless the LORD, O my soul, And forget not all his benefits:Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; Who healeth all thy diseases;Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; Who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;
For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee.
For which cause we faint not; but though our outward man perish, yet the inward man is renewed day by day.For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, worketh for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory;while we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.
For the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall feed them, and shall lead them unto living fountains of waters: and God shall wipe away all tears from their eyes.
The LORD is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The LORD is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid?
For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword?As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us.
I will lift up mine eyes unto the hills, From whence cometh my help.My help cometh from the LORD, Which made heaven and earth.
Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)
I waited patiently for the LORD; And he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.He brought me up also out of an horrible pit, out of the miry clay, And set my feet upon a rock, and established my goings.And he hath put a new song in my mouth, even praise unto our God: Many shall see it, and fear, And shall trust in the LORD.
Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusteth in thee.Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is everlasting strength:
Because thou hast been my help, Therefore in the shadow of thy wings will I rejoice.My soul followeth hard after thee: Thy right hand upholdeth me.
But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.

Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted.
For whatsoever things were written aforetime were written for our learning, that we through patience and comfort of the scriptures might have hope.
For we know that if our earthly house of this tabernacle were dissolved, we have a building of God, an house not made with hands, eternal in the heavens.
But the God of all grace, who hath called us unto his eternal glory by Christ Jesus, after that ye have suffered a while, make you perfect, stablish, strengthen, settle you.
And this is the will of him that sent me, that every one which seeth the Son, and believeth on him, may have everlasting life: and I will raise him up at the last day.
For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ:who shall change our vile body, that it may be fashioned like unto his glorious body, according to the working whereby he is able even to subdue all things unto himself.
For whether we live, we live unto the Lord; and whether we die, we die unto the Lord: whether we live therefore, or die, we are the Lord's.
I have set the LORD always before me: Because he is at my right hand, I shall not be moved.Therefore my heart is glad, and my glory rejoiceth: My flesh also shall rest in hope.
As one whom his mother comforteth, so will I comfort you; and ye shall be comforted in Jerusalem.
Thou art my hiding place; thou shalt preserve me from trouble; Thou shalt compass me about with songs of deliverance. Selah.
There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit.
being confident of this very thing, that he which hath begun a good work in you will perform it until the day of Jesus Christ:
Now the God of patience and consolation grant you to be likeminded one toward another according to Christ Jesus:
Search me, O God, and know my heart: Try me, and know my thoughts:And see if there be any wicked way in me, And lead me in the way everlasting.
Behold, God is my salvation; I will trust, and not be afraid: for the LORD JEHOVAH is my strength and my song; he also is become my salvation.
Wherein ye greatly rejoice, though now for a season, if need be, ye are in heaviness through manifold temptations:that the trial of your faith, being much more precious than of gold that perisheth, though it be tried with fire, might be found unto praise and honour and glory at the appearing of Jesus Christ:
These things have I spoken unto you, that my joy might remain in you, and that your joy might be full.
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.
Beloved, now are we the sons of God, and it doth not yet appear what we shall be: but we know that, when he shall appear, we shall be like him; for we shall see him as he is.

Wherefore let them that suffer according to the will of God commit the keeping of their souls to him in well doing, as unto a faithful Creator.
For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.
O LORD, thou hast searched me, and known me.Thou knowest my downsitting and mine uprising, thou understandest my thought afar off.
teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.
And this is the confidence that we have in him, that, if we ask any thing according to his will, he heareth us:and if we know that he hear us, whatsoever we ask, we know that we have the petitions that we desired of him.
For of him, and through him, and to him, are all things: to whom be glory for ever. Amen.
and the LORD shall guide thee continually, and satisfy thy soul in drought, and make fat thy bones: and thou shalt be like a watered garden, and like a spring of water, whose waters fail not.
As for God, his way is perfect: The word of the LORD is tried: He is a buckler to all those that trust in him.
Blessed is the man that trusteth in the LORD, and whose hope the LORD is.For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, and that spreadeth out her roots by the river, and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green; and shall not be careful in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.
The LORD is nigh unto all them that call upon him, To all that call upon him in truth.He will fulfil the desire of them that fear him: He also will hear their cry, and will save them.
O God, thou art My God; early will I seek thee: My soul thirsteth for thee, my flesh longeth for thee In a dry and thirsty land, where no water is;To see thy power and thy glory, So as I have seen thee in the sanctuary.Because thy lovingkindness Is better than life, My lips shall praise thee.Thus will I bless thee while I live: I will lift up my hands in thy name.
Blessed be God, even the Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies, and the God of all comfort;
The Spirit itself beareth witness with our spirit, that we are the children of God:and if children, then heirs; heirs of God, and joint-heirs with Christ; if so be that we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified together.
but sanctify the Lord God in your hearts: and be ready always to give an answer to every man that asketh you a reason of the hope that is in you with meekness and fear:
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life: And I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever.
Thy dead men shall live, together with my dead body shall they arise. Awake and sing, ye that dwell in dust: for thy dew is as the dew of herbs, and the earth shall cast out the dead.
He that is our God is the God of salvation; And unto GOD the Lord belong the issues from death.
Let, I pray thee, thy merciful kindness be for my comfort, According to thy word unto thy servant.
For we are saved by hope: but hope that is seen is not hope: for what a man seeth, why doth he yet hope for?But if we hope for that we see not, then do we with patience wait for it.
For the LORD God is a sun and shield: The LORD will give grace and glory: No good thing will he withhold from them that walk uprightly.
He that overcometh, the same shall be clothed in white raiment; and I will not blot out his name out of the book of life, but I will confess his name before my Father, and before his angels.
And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.
Jesus saith unto her, Thy brother shall rise again.Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ.Faithful is he that calleth you, who also will do it.
And when I saw him, I fell at his feet as dead. And he laid his right hand upon me, saying unto me, Fear not; I am the first and the last:I am he that liveth, and was dead; and, behold, I am alive for evermore, Amen; and have the keys of hell and of death.
