If you love me, keep my commandments.

“Don’t think that I came to destroy the law or the prophets. I didn’t come to destroy, but to fulfil.For most certainly, I tell you, until heaven and earth pass away, not even one smallest letter or one tiny pen stroke shall in any way pass away from the law, until all things are accomplished.

You shall love the LORD your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your might.These words, which I command you today, shall be on your heart;

With my whole heart I have sought you. Don’t let me wander from your commandments.I have hidden your word in my heart, that I might not sin against you.

Now, Israel, what does the LORD your God require of you, but to fear the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, to love him, and to serve the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul,to keep the LORD’s commandments and statutes, which I command you today for your good?

If you keep my commandments, you will remain in my love, even as I have kept my Father’s commandments and remain in his love.

The LORD’s law is perfect, restoring the soul. The LORD’s covenant is sure, making wise the simple.The LORD’s precepts are right, rejoicing the heart. The LORD’s commandment is pure, enlightening the eyes.

For this is loving God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous.

and showing loving kindness to thousands of those who love me and keep my commandments.

Your word is a lamp to my feet, and a light for my path.

Jesus said to him, “‘You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your mind.’This is the first and great commandment.A second likewise is this, ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’The whole law and the prophets depend on these two commandments.”

Give me understanding, and I will keep your law. Yes, I will obey it with my whole heart.

My son, don’t forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments,for they will add to you length of days, years of life, and peace.

Therefore you shall love the LORD your God, and keep his instructions, his statutes, his ordinances, and his commandments, always.

“Therefore you shall keep my commandments, and do them. I am the LORD.

A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another. Just as I have loved you, you also love one another.

Blessed are those who keep his statutes, who seek him with their whole heart.

You shall not add to the word which I command you, neither shall you take away from it, that you may keep the commandments of the LORD your God which I command you.

But he who looks into the perfect law of freedom and continues, not being a hearer who forgets but a doer of the work, this man will be blessed in what he does.

Praise the LORD! Blessed is the man who fears the LORD, who delights greatly in his commandments.

Circumcision is nothing, and uncircumcision is nothing, but what matters is keeping God’s commandments.

You shall observe to do therefore as the LORD your God has commanded you. You shall not turn away to the right hand or to the left.You shall walk in all the way which the LORD your God has commanded you, that you may live and that it may be well with you, and that you may prolong your days in the land which you shall possess.

and keep the instruction of the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, to keep his statutes, his commandments, his ordinances, and his testimonies, according to that which is written in the law of Moses, that you may prosper in all that you do and wherever you turn yourself.

But if you indeed listen to his voice, and do all that I speak, then I will be an enemy to your enemies, and an adversary to your adversaries.

The LORD commanded us to do all these statutes, to fear the LORD our God, for our good always, that he might preserve us alive, as we are today.

He taught me, and said to me: “Let your heart retain my words. Keep my commandments, and live.

This is love, that we should walk according to his commandments. This is the commandment, even as you heard from the beginning, that you should walk in it.

I will never forget your precepts, for with them, you have revived me.

You shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, to walk in his ways, and to fear him.

This is the end of the matter. All has been heard. Fear God and keep his commandments; for this is the whole duty of man.

Blessed are those whose ways are blameless, who walk according to the LORD’s law.

He said, “If you will diligently listen to the LORD your God’s voice, and will do that which is right in his eyes, and will pay attention to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of the diseases on you which I have put on the Egyptians; for I am the LORD who heals you.”

One who has my commandments and keeps them, that person is one who loves me. One who loves me will be loved by my Father, and I will love him, and will reveal myself to him.”

Those who love your law have great peace. Nothing causes them to stumble.

My son, keep your father’s commandment, and don’t forsake your mother’s teaching.Bind them continually on your heart. Tie them around your neck.When you walk, it will lead you. When you sleep, it will watch over you. When you awake, it will talk with you.

For I command you today to love the LORD your God, to walk in his ways and to keep his commandments, his statutes, and his ordinances, that you may live and multiply, and that the LORD your God may bless you in the land where you go in to possess it.

This is how we know that we know him: if we keep his commandments.One who says, “I know him,” and doesn’t keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth isn’t in him.

Let my tongue sing of your word, for all your commandments are righteousness.

This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it; for then you shall make your way prosperous, and then you shall have good success.

I call heaven and earth to witness against you today that I have set before you life and death, the blessing and the curse. By this we know that we love the children of God, when we love God and keep his commandments.For this is loving God, that we keep his commandments. His commandments are not grievous.

How I love your law! It is my meditation all day.

He took the book of the covenant and read it in the hearing of the people, and they said, “We will do all that the LORD has said, and be obedient.”

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom. All those who do his work have a good understanding. His praise endures forever!

But he said, “On the contrary, blessed are those who hear the word of God, and keep it.”

I will walk in liberty, for I have sought your precepts.

“I am the LORD your God, who brought you out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage.“You shall have no other gods before me.

Sanctify them in your truth. Your word is truth.

You shall therefore obey the LORD your God’s voice, and do his commandments and his statutes, which I command you today.”

For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other commandments there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbour as yourself.”

“Let your heart therefore be perfect with the LORD our God, to walk in his statutes, and to keep his commandments, as it is today.”

I will hurry, and not delay, to obey your commandments.

But he answered, “It is written, ‘Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceeds out of God’s mouth.’”

You shall do my ordinances. You shall keep my statutes and walk in them. I am the LORD your God.You shall therefore keep my statutes and my ordinances, which if a man does, he shall live in them. I am the LORD.

Now therefore, if you will indeed obey my voice and keep my covenant, then you shall be my own possession from amongst all peoples; for all the earth is mine;

The law of his God is in his heart. None of his steps shall slide.

“Honour your father and your mother, as the LORD your God commanded you, that your days may be long and that it may go well with you in the land which the LORD your God gives you.

if my people who are called by my name will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

Let your tender mercies come to me, that I may live; for your law is my delight.

Therefore, whoever shall break one of these least commandments and teach others to do so, shall be called least in the Kingdom of Heaven; but whoever shall do and teach them shall be called great in the Kingdom of Heaven.

Now these are the commandments, the statutes, and the ordinances, which the LORD your God commanded to teach you, that you might do them in the land that you go over to possess;that you might fear the LORD your God, to keep all his statutes and his commandments, which I command you—you, your son, and your son’s son, all the days of your life; and that your days may be prolonged.

Whoever despises instruction will pay for it, but he who respects a command will be rewarded.

But it is easier for heaven and earth to pass away than for one tiny stroke of a pen in the law to fall.

For if you shall diligently keep all these commandments which I command you—to do them, to love the LORD your God, to walk in all his ways, and to cling to him—

Open my eyes, that I may see wondrous things out of your law.

You are my friends if you do whatever I command you.

When he finished speaking with him on Mount Sinai, he gave Moses the two tablets of the covenant, stone tablets, written with God’s finger.

“Not everyone who says to me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ will enter into the Kingdom of Heaven, but he who does the will of my Father who is in heaven.

He was there with the LORD forty days and forty nights; he neither ate bread, nor drank water. He wrote on the tablets the words of the covenant, the ten commandments.

My son, if you will receive my words, and store up my commandments within you,so as to turn your ear to wisdom, and apply your heart to understanding;yes, if you call out for discernment, and lift up your voice for understanding;if you seek her as silver, and search for her as for hidden treasures;then you will understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

make you complete in every good work to do his will, working in you that which is well pleasing in his sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.

You shall walk after the LORD your God, fear him, keep his commandments, and obey his voice. You shall serve him, and cling to him.

All the people answered together, and said, “All that the LORD has spoken we will do.” Moses reported the words of the people to the LORD.

Your righteousness is an everlasting righteousness. Your law is truth.

“Everyone therefore who hears these words of mine and does them, I will liken him to a wise man who built his house on the rock.

Teach me, LORD, the way of your statutes. I will keep them to the end.

The LORD said to Moses, “Chisel two stone tablets like the first. I will write on the tablets the words that were on the first tablets, which you broke.

The wise in heart accept commandments, but a chattering fool will fall.

It shall happen, if you shall listen diligently to the LORD your God’s voice, to observe to do all his commandments which I command you today, that the LORD your God will set you high above all the nations of the earth.All these blessings will come upon you, and overtake you, if you listen to the LORD your God’s voice.

Consider my affliction, and deliver me, for I don’t forget your law.Plead my cause, and redeem me! Revive me according to your promise.

For it isn’t the hearers of the law who are righteous before God, but the doers of the law will be justified

Take firm hold of instruction. Don’t let her go. Keep her, for she is your life.

Most certainly, I tell you, if a person keeps my word, he will never see death.”

The LORD will establish you for a holy people to himself, as he has sworn to you, if you shall keep the commandments of the LORD your God, and walk in his ways.

Let me understand the teaching of your precepts! Then I will meditate on your wondrous works.

He answered, “You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your strength, and with all your mind; and your neighbour as yourself.” He said to him, “You have answered correctly. Do this, and you will live.”

“You shall not murder.“You shall not commit adultery.

Moreover your servant is warned by them. In keeping them there is great reward.

He answered them, “Why do you also disobey the commandment of God because of your tradition?

“This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days,” says the Lord, “I will put my laws on their heart, I will also write them on their mind;” then he says,

But God’s love has most certainly been perfected in whoever keeps his word. This is how we know that we are in him:

The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge, but the foolish despise wisdom and instruction.

Consider my affliction, and deliver me, for I don’t forget your law.

Keep therefore and do them; for this is your wisdom and your understanding in the sight of the peoples who shall hear all these statutes and say, “Surely this great nation is a wise and understanding people.”For what great nation is there that has a god so near to them as the LORD our God is whenever we call on him?What great nation is there that has statutes and ordinances so righteous as all this law which I set before you today?

I have rejoiced in the way of your testimonies, as much as in all riches.

“But this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days,” says the LORD: “I will put my law in their inward parts, and I will write it in their heart. I will be their God, and they shall be my people.

‘Honour your father and your mother.’ And, ‘You shall love your neighbour as yourself.’”

The world is passing away with its lusts, but he who does God’s will remains forever.

“Why do you call me, ‘Lord, Lord,’ and don’t do the things which I say?

It is the spirit who gives life. The flesh profits nothing. The words that I speak to you are spirit, and are life.

My son, don’t forget my teaching, but let your heart keep my commandments,for they will add to you length of days, years of life, and peace.Don’t let kindness and truth forsake you. Bind them around your neck. Write them on the tablet of your heart.So you will find favour, and good understanding in the sight of God and man.

“You shall not misuse the name of the LORD your God, for the LORD will not hold him guiltless who misuses his name.

Whatever thing I command you, that you shall observe to do. You shall not add to it, nor take away from it.

For I delight in God’s law after the inward person,

He who doesn’t love me doesn’t keep my words. The word which you hear isn’t mine, but the Father’s who sent me.

I have taken your testimonies as a heritage forever, for they are the joy of my heart.I have set my heart to perform your statutes forever, even to the end. SAMEKH

You shall bind them for a sign on your hand, and they shall be for frontlets between your eyes.You shall write them on the door posts of your house and on your gates.

But be doers of the word, and not only hearers, deluding your own selves.

“Now therefore, my sons, listen to me, for blessed are those who keep my ways.Hear instruction, and be wise. Don’t refuse it.Blessed is the man who hears me, watching daily at my gates, waiting at my door posts.For whoever finds me finds life, and will obtain favour from the LORD.But he who sins against me wrongs his own soul. All those who hate me love death.”

If you will not observe to do all the words of this law that are written in this book, that you may fear this glorious and fearful name, THE LORD your God,then the LORD will make your plagues and the plagues of your offspring fearful, even great plagues, and of long duration, and severe sicknesses, and of long duration.

“He who is not with me is against me. He who doesn’t gather with me scatters.

“Most certainly I tell you, he who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life, and doesn’t come into judgement, but has passed out of death into life.

You are near, LORD. All your commandments are truth.Of old I have known from your testimonies, that you have founded them forever. RESH

How can a young man keep his way pure? By living according to your word.

See that you don’t refuse him who speaks. For if they didn’t escape when they refused him who warned on the earth, how much more will we not escape who turn away from him who warns from heaven,

Therefore keep the words of this covenant and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do.

Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they shall be filled.

One who says, “I know him,” and doesn’t keep his commandments, is a liar, and the truth isn’t in him.

“You shall not steal.“You shall not give false testimony against your neighbour.
